Sort of OT - Now that MyPoints has changed their Tupperware points values

DH and I certainly have stalled our purchases through Tupperware/Mypoints. Really disappointing. It's gonna take forever to get those points again....
By the way, did you see the Avon 800 points offer? No minimum purchase. Just gotta wait for that free shipping with no minimum purhcase like we got at the end of the last Avon deal.

Actually, I did do the Avon purchase. I think it was free shipping with a $25.00 purchase. One of the things I got was a little Mickey Mouse makeup bag that I can take on my trips. :)

I have also stopped my Tupperware purchases considerably! It was great getting that 800 points each time, but not worth it now to me! LOL

I haven't bought a thing from Tupperware since the 800 points ended.... I guess its my quiet rebellion. And there are even things I'd really like to have at Tupperware! O well. It'd be interesting to know how much sales have dropped.

I'm sure that their sales have dropped quite a bit. I'm not buying either, even though I have a few GCs still left to spend. I'm hoping that they wake up and realize that the new promotion just ain't doin' it for us.

If not, CR rewards 7 pts/$, CTTM offers 5 pts/$, eBates give 6% cashback, and PCHPoints is givng 15 pts/$. If you're in the market for Tupperware, you might want to try one of those sites.

I have purchased three or four times thru tupperware when i was getting the 800 points.....but will wait until they get hard up for us again.......I had better service thru the web site then I did with a woman who sold the stuff in town........they were very fast and got what I wanted

I too stopped buying Tupperware, it was more of an impulse purchase because they baited me with the points, but by scaling it I don't browse and I don't buy. Avon, now that is a different story--that MM tote bag was such a good deal and of course now I have to have the make-up bag! LOL

Anyone interested in still buying Tupperware can go to my site a http://my.tupperware.com/kl I sell Tupperware but also used to by my own products through the Mypoints program if there were items online that were cheaper for me.

Just curious and not flaming......but wouldnt the 250 points for a small purchase get you more points per dollar than doing these other offers? Like for the 7 pts at CR to break even with the MyPoints 250 you'd have to spend more than $35.71. And if you did spend over $35.71 then that would push you up to the next level of 500 points.

$20x7 CR Pts=140
$20x12.5 My Pts=250
$20x15 PCH=300

$39x7 CR Pts=273
$39x12.82 My Pts=500
$39x15PCH=585

Point Cash Out Values:
MyPoints $10 WalMart is 1,500 pts
CRs $10 WalMart is 2,100 pts
PCH $10 WalMart is 9,000 :earseek:

I happily boycotted Tupperware today by buying 2 small Rubbermaid containers for 40c each!! That's at least 80% cheaper than Tupperware! But I will miss those points.
