So, we're going on our first WDW trip in December 2017. :dogdance: Yay!!! We're a family of 6. The kids are two boys (14 and 13) and two girls (7 and 7).

I'm planning to get these pants for the kids, but I'm just not sure how many we need for each kid. The pants only come in two colors, khaki and navy blue. I've decided on these because they can roll up and button to become shorts.

How many would you get??? Do you bring a different pair of pants for each day???

Where are you staying? How far away is the laundry? With a family of 6, are you in a villa or condo with a washer and dryer? I think it is easier to pack less, and have a handy washer and dryer. We throw everything in the wash every night and get dressed out of the dryer in the morning. We don't care about wrinkled clothes.

Hi, thanks for responding.
We're staying in two rooms at Caribbean Beach. I don't know if they'll have laundry facilities in each building or how that works there. I was thinking 3 or 4 pair each, but I'm not sure...

We pack pants/shorts for every day, and then a couple of extra. The pants may not "look" dirty but kids will be sitting on rides and buses and food benches and sidewalks...We have some days when we return to the resort for a swim, and even if the kids don't shower after the pool would you really want to put on pants you wore yesterday? We have kids shower nightly before bed, because it just seems gross to get in the same sheets the next night if they go to bed dirty. We always do laundry on the trip, and usually have things that were not worn because we all have our favorites. Love packing cubes for kid outfits!
So- we shower at night, go to bed cozy and clean, and the next morning always wear clean clothes.
How long is your trip? Do you plan to go back to your room to swim- or are you just planning to be out all day then come home and go to bed?

Yup...you are so right. I didn't even think of it like that. I was thinking walking/sitting all day in cool weather.

We also shower at night for the same reasons. I definitely wouldn't let them wear the same pants after a playground/park day so, of course, Disney would be along those same lines.

Do you know how the laundry facilities are in CBR???

I know at POFQ, and I assume in many other resorts, the washer and dryers can send a text when they are finished operating.

This seems to be common now. Several campuses we visited had the same notification.
