Sort of a rider switch question

We have FP for all six of our party for FOP....all my kids are tall enough to ride, even five year old....he is the one I am concerned about possibly freaking out at the moment of getting on the ride, though.
So if we all use our FP and go through the line and then he freaks right before we get on, Will they give me a rider switch at that point? Or am I SOL?

I dont know if there is an official rule in place. I had this happen though. My son freaked and so he and my husband stepped out. There was an area just outside our little room that the CM had them wait. Once our other kids and I were finished the CM asked my husband who had waited with scared kiddo if he would like to go. They even asked scared kiddo if he would like a chance to try again (which he declined lol).

As Calee stated, Ride swap for kids that meet the height requirement happens at the loading area for the most part. Otherwise, people would try to cheat the system (not saying his about the OP at all!) to get the special access.
