Oh yeah, all of our bottles of stuff are mini travel size (just enough for each of us to use up in the week we will be there.)

I've read over your list. Looks good to me. I only have one other thing I take and that is a night light. If I or someone else gets up in the middle of the nigiht or early in the morning I don't want to have a bright light in my face.

I don't know how much you travel but I just wanted you to be aware of "calling cards". You will still be charge a fee for using them. I tryed to tell a friend of my this very same thing when we went on a trip a couple of years ago. She kept insisting there was no way there was an extra fee. At check out she received a $30 something bill.

we will most likely use the card from cell phone....I know we will have roaming chgs but fortunately they are minimal and well we will just be calling to say we arrived or in a super emergency! :goodvibes

Just making sure you were aware. Have a great trip! We will be going the last week of April and can hardly wait!

What about a camera?

The first time I traveled with my wife she LOVED my way of planning.....Airlline tickets-check; room reservation number-check; ID-check; cash-check; credit cards-check...ok, anything else we forgot we'll just buy. I see no reason to stress over vacation packing :):)

I think he should screw the psp and buy a DS, much better... Jk I'm not one of those annoying guys, but if you are planning on taking it into the park make sure it is in a ziplock bag(even if you bag is water proof alittle water might leak in)

Looks great ! Wish my DH was that involved - my guys just throw a few changes of clothes in a bag and off they go - of course I cover everything else ! ;)

I was just checking to make sure you included bug repellant (which you did ! :) ) - I lost a family member to West Nile and want everyone to be aware and protected - Enjoy your trip !!! :sunny:

Make sure you each have tennis shoes- and maybe some Tylenol? I'm taking band-aids/moleskin to carry into the parks in case blisters start to develop. You bf might also want an extra pair of swim trunks, depending on how often you plan on swimming. Good luck! :flower:

You can use the calling card from the payphones in the lobby and you won't be charged a fee to use them. That's what I did last time I went :cool1:

I see you put an extra outfit of yours in his checked bags just in case your bag goes missing. But what if his bag goes missing - I don't see an extra outfit for him in your checked bag.

Actually, why not more completely mix them up and put some of each in both bags.

You'll want an extra pair of sneakers or at least some type of sandals, for both of you, in case your footwear gets soaked in the rain. May take 2 days to dry out.

That's what I was going to suggest. My parents luggage was lost on a trip and they had to buy all new clothes. Now they put some of their clothes in each other's luggage just in case one suit case goes missing.

I agree with the extra sandal/sneaker thing..ours got soaked on splash mountain and took 2 days to dry luckily we had a back up!!

As for makeup in the summer I love neutragena products because they are multi-use...the moisturizer is spf and has a tint(for a little color and coverage but not heavy) and the shimmer tubes in like a rose color or neutral can be used on eyes and cheeks for a little shimmer and nice color!!!

last but not least have an AWESOME time! :wizard:

I see a few things missisng that *I* would pack, but they're probably just personal preference. For instance, your BF doesn't appear to be taking any shorts. Is he aware how hot FL is going to feel compared to ONT? He may wish he had left the long pants at home. Also, you have 7 tops listed but only 4 bottoms. If it were me, I would pack a few more bottoms. And you have shave gel listed but not a razor anywhere. Also, no blow dryer, but you may be counting on your resort to supply that. I would also second the extra shoes/socks and the moleskin. Other than that, looks pretty good.

I always seem to get blisters (and I mean a lot) when I go to Disney. To the point that it's uncomfortable just to walk. I noticed that a couple of people have mentioned moleskin. That never works for me. Last year I happened to think to bring vaseline (I have super dry skin and have to put it on my hands and feet at night before bed, anyway...) and tried putting it on my feet before I put my socks and sneakers on. That seemed to help a lot but it's kindof gross feeling.

My question is...
I read in the unofficial guide that some people put duct tape on the bottom of their feet (but they cut lines for in between their toes).
1. Does this really work?
2. Why does it work?
3. Is it very uncomfortable?

Thanks!

You also want to take a list of what is actually in each suitcase, should one of them get lost. Plus a copy of your passport info as well.

I echo the thoughts of a camera, essential for those memories. A waterproof camera for the waterparks if you visit them would be ideal too.

My son will be very envious of your BF's PSP, we are still waiting for it to be released over here. It got delayed because Sony had to satisfy the American market first before letting us have any. :sad2:

We are just taking the bear minimum with us this year, basically two of everything in two cases for 4 of us. We know from past experience visiting Belz that we bring loads back with us so we are leaving plenty of room in the cases for the extras we buy.

OK here is my reply :)

Wildbill-I forgot to write the camera in the list but its there! with extra memory sticks!

Sidneysboys-Both of us are PSPers but we wont take it to the parks...to much risk

fanofdisney-Tylenol is listed in my stuff...We won't be swimming too much plus i will be rinsing out our swimsuits when we are done with them...I always do that at home so no biggie while there.

DisneyFan719- Good Idea to use the payphone!

OKWlover-I do have an outfit of his in my bag..Forgot to list it

Lewisc-I have sandals and will be wearing my sneakers. He on the other hand is stubborn as a mule, he won't take extra shoes and he wont wear sandals. Thankfully his shoes only take a couple hours to dry.

Musky-Shorts are listed in his checked bag I mix bottoms but tend to spill on tops (thats the only reason i am taking so many tops) Razor is there forgot to list it! Resort has a blowdryer in every room as well as a fridge microwave iron and ironing board. 2 tvs 2 phones...so we are good to go in that sense

Wicket2005-I do have a waterproof camera forgot to list it in there, I will write a detailed list of what is in our bags once I am 100% sure I am done packing, I don't want to write 25 of them lol! Also we have copies of all our important documents and We have 1 set in our checked bags one set left home with my folks and one set is being left with DBFs moms employer. The PSP is wonderful! :teeth:

Thanks everyone. Now I can relax :sunny:

Just a thought, you may want to bring extra socks. I always plan on two pairs of socks a day. You never know when it will rain, and even if it does not, a fresh pair of socks can make tired feet feel a little better midday.

Aside from that, looks good. Have a great trip! :sunny:

lol this is silly really but we used them more then we thought, and they take up no room at all..clothespins (2-3). and we packed a large garbage bag in case we had anything that wasn't dry to take back the day we left.

i also packed a little bottle of liqued band-aid as i knew this would last better then a reg one if needed, no falling off in the pool etc. (great if you nick yourself shaving too, no one knows, lol)
