what exactly is the difference between a regular DVC at AKV and the concierge rooms that I keep reading about everyone wanting at AKV. I know that I am risking looking like a complete and utter newbie but I can not find any info on this! We becamse DVC members before BCV opened so our member guidebook is a bit dated and the most recent vacation planner doesn't seem to show much.

The simple answer is that the concierge rooms have access to a special lounge with food put out during the day as well as drinks. The floor is only accessable by key in the elevator. The concierge is able to help make your adr's and other plans. Concierge level guest are able to schedule the sunrise safari.
