I'm sorry for being absent lately. I really have been down and not feeling very supportive. The few times I've peeked in on all of you, I would get so jealous that I couldn't stand it. You are all doing so great! I, on the other hand, have been unpleasant and unmotivated and sick of this stupid weather! I am sorry for dumping on you all without giving you the benefit of some supportive comments, but I really don't have much to offer in that area right now.

A few comments.
Kath, You are doing great! You are amazing, and I am so happy for you. Your attitude has been helpful when I'm feeling down.

Elise, I wish I could make it all better for you! {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}

To all the rest, I will be peeking in from time to time (I know! I know! The taboo lurker!) and saying prayers and sending PD to you and smiling with all your successes, instead of being jealous of you. Thanks for being here for me, all my WISH angels!

Keep the Faith!
Tracy

Tracy, you are really feeling down, aren't you? I'm quick, I can figure stuff like this out :teeth:

You know what tells me how down you truly are feeling? The fact that you are "apologizing" because you are "dumping" on us.

Tracy, I know that you realize there is no such thing as "dumping" here on WISH. Think about it...I'll bet you remember that too.

Everyone here on WISH is here to offer you support and advice and the occasional cyber slap (so don't make me have to come over there ;) )

Sharing our disappointments and fears and receiving support and comfort is the magic of WISH. You are part of that magic Tracy. You have cheered me up so many times, made me smile lots and lots and I know you have done the same thing for the rest of WISH. So, now it's your turn to find help and caring here. Guess what? You're going to get it.

I must tell you, however, that apologizing for "dumping" on your fellow WISHers is against WISH guidelines, it's article II section whatever :) So, stop that!

Now, come over here and let me give you a big old {{{HUG}}}. Tell me all about it, or don't tell me all about it, whatever is best for you. You don't have to have a reason to be feeling down, Tracy. We all have times when we just feel sad. I know I do and sometimes when I feel sad, I have absolutely no reason for feeling that way (bloat fairy do not even think about giving me a reason). We all have days and sometimes even weeks like that.

Now listen to me. You come here to WISH anytime, anytime, and tell us how you are feeling, happy, sad, angry, doesn't matter, just come here and share and we will make you feel better. We might not be able to solve the issue but I guarantee you that we can make you feel like someone cares about you. That's the easy part, of course, because everyone here does care about you.

Why are you jealous? Come on, fess up. You can do it. Now, give us a smile, sweetie. You call that a smile? Are you in pain or something? Smile...well that's a little better...hmmm...I think this calls for an emergency pm.

Katholyn

Thanks Kath!
Now you've got me sobbing. Tears are literally streaming down my face. I am OK, really. I just have a hard time when the sun doesn't shine. (Kind of reminds me of another Bill Withers tune.) I could never live in the northwest! Not enough coffee on the planet! Sorry Starbucks!

Thanks guys for all the great PMs. You are all so great! OK, I'm not crying anymore.:D I'd better get going on my errands!

Thanks for Keeping the Faith!
Tracy

Hi Tracy~

I hope you don't mind me jumping in here...I am new=)

I have a great support group aruond me...and an email group spread out around the country. The same thing plays itself out over and over...when we need the most support is when we go into the "wood-lurk". I know I've done it over and over myself.

I'm glad you unloaded some of that stress off of your shoulders...cause I know there are plenty here willing to take on some of that for ya=)

The sun definitly plays a factor in how we feel...I know when I get my mind thinking summer (or disney, hehe) it puts me in a better mood and I can regain some of that focus.

SO , let's make today a summer day for ya. Put on some good vibrations...go through your summer clothes...get out a journal and write down how you want to feel this summer. Make some lemonade...pull up the shades...cause we're having summertime party today with ya=)

You just hang in there girl! take one day at a time....this is MISSION:POSSIBLE!!

Hugs,

Kari

(((hugs)))

I know how you are feeling and you will get through this. I felt the same way after I started the WISH Challenge in January. I actually watched for 2 months before I decided to join my own challenge. :)

Take care of you and let me know if there is anything I can do to help!

 WHAT!!!! ;)

OK, I did try when I first started the challenge (not very hard) but remember, I went on vacation? Totally didn't try in March at all. But, I there now! LOL!

Hey, Tracy, no apologies necessary! {{{{{Tracy}}}}}}}

I understand how you feel. I get like that myself sometimes (about all sorts of issues, not just weight loss). Anyway, I have a good friend who understands my ups and downs. When I get down, she asks me if I've got my head stuck in the hunny pot (like Pooh). Just makes it a little less serious sounding, so I don't feel guilty about getting that way.

Just go through the funk as best you can and when you are feeling better, hop back on board! I am like you, when I am feeling down it's hard to post supportive comments, not because I can't think of anything positive to say, but I'd feel like I was betaying people somehow by not giving my best. Does that make sense? So I tend to just get quiet when it doesn't flow naturally.

You know we would love to lift you right back up to a happy feeling place. Just say the word and consider it done! :)

For what it's worth...here are a few gems (affirmations) to help you through the day:

I tell myself often what a good job I am doing.

I treat myself with respect. I am a worthy being.

I reach a new level of fitness.

I am naturally drawn to healthy food.

All my feelings are a part of myself. I accept all of them.

I feel all the molecules and atoms in my body rearranging themselves to create even greater fitness and health. (oh, I really love that one!) ;)

From Wayne Dyer's site:

Everything that is happening is supposed to be happening.

Every problem you have you experience in your mind. The solution to the problem is in the same place.

The use of mental imagery is one of the strongest and most effective strategies for making something happen for you.

We become what we think about all day long. The question is, "What do you think about?"

We're all here for you and are ready, willing and able to do what ever we can to make you feel better. There isn't a one of us that hasn't had bad days, weeks and even months. I know you feel alone right now but believe me your not. Let us take some of your burden and lighten your load.

Please take the time to post everyday and let us know how your doing. That's why we're here.

I'm sending love, prayers and hugs for you to use as you need them. Let me know when you run low and I'll be sure to send more.

OH I thought you were in my head speaking my thoughts. Whew!!! Everyone's replies are so wonderful. Here are {(HUGS)} from me to all of you. The losers and the not so losers! We are a great bunch aren't we!

It's exactly posts like these that make the WISH board so "real" and encouraging!!! We all have those times- heck, how did I delude myself into keeping these extra pounds on me now that my baby is 4 years old!! That- oh I just had a baby excuse is no good anymore!!

And in fact- you know what I had for my "healthy" meal on my Slim-Fast? Well, we're on a tight budget preparing for the Sep. trip to Disney and I can't go buy new veggies/fruits until tomorrow (payday!)- so I had Ore-Ida french fries pan fried with ketchup all over them- and two pieces of bread with cheddar cheese microwaved in between them. AND I ate the 3 fries left over on my 4 year old's plate- why let them go to waste?? Ya know- we all have moments like these- the WISH board is here to make them farther and fewer between so we don't hurt ourselves more by keeping that weight hanging on.

Also- I'm MAKING myself work out atleast 5 days a week- this has probably helped my attitude 100%- after an hour of sweating it off and feeling my tail end not jut out so far that it touches the backs of my thighs is kind of a positive! I've stuck to it for about 6 weeks now and it's tough but it's really helping shut out any negativity or excuses I may make up to go off the wagon.

I'm not very good at letting people feel bad about themself- there just isn't enough time in the day!!! YOU ARE NEEDED HERE- the good, the bad, the ugly- and hopefully some of our "ugly" days will help you see that.

Tara

Hey, Tracy- why don't you just hop on an airplane and come see me here in Texas?

We've been getting some sunshine (some clouds, too, but they don't stay very long!) We can lay on floaties in the pool and drink wine and watch the airplanes fly overhead. Then you can sit and let my Labrador love you to pieces- you'll get the most adoring gazes from her. She's a wonderful ego boost!

Then we can put on our most comfy clothes and watch silly old movies on DVD, and eat diet popcorn till the wee hours. Then we can sleep in as late as we want the next day, and get my DH and DS to cook brunch for us.

Then maybe we'll go to the salon for massages and pedicures...

(Oh, man- that life is sounding like much more fun than my reality lately!!)

LOL:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Thanks for the laugh! And the encouragement. I'm not really very good at asking for help, and I thank you all for going out of your way to send happy thoughts and positive vibes.:) Still in a funk, though. I had to go to the Township Assessors office today, pay bills, and if that wasn't bad enough, I had lunch at SAM'S CLUB today! BLECH! I don't mean to sound like an alchy here, but I REALLY need a nice glass of wine. (I am the only person I know who choses the wine before dinner. HMMM. What goes good with Shiraz?:p ) That does it! I'm outta here. Off to the wine cellar. Thanks again everyone.

Keeping the Faith!
Tracy
