If anyone has sold any of their "property" and would like to share with me the process in which one goes about doing that, that would be great. Unfourtunatly we are going to have to sell our membership.

I'd say it's as easy as calling the toll free number at the top of this page. The Timeshare Store is a very reputable company and as you can see, they sell more DVC resales than anyone else. They will be happy to take you through the process step by step.

While it is possible to direct owner sale, I agree, for me it would be worth a commission to let a reputable resale company handle the transaction. They may even have someone on a list looking for a contract just like the one you're offering.

However, if your current financial situation looks to be somewhat temporary, you could maybe rent those point out for a few years to cover the cost of dues and some of the note payment. At least it is something to consider.
