We are flying southwest with 1 free roundtrip (rapid rewards)
and 2 roundtrips @ $184 each LI, Ny to Orlando
Dollar has a discount for southwest customers so 7 day rent a car is costing me 318
Hotel is reserved at the Holiday inn maingate east for 219.00
2 free days at disney thanks to the parks closing on us on September 11th
Buy one day get one day at seaworld (plus 5$ off & a $20 M/C giftcard for ordering online)
Free day at IOA (thanks to my uncle & Aunt who got jobs there>>>)
MAN this trip just keeps getting cheaper & cheaper..Our last year I booked a pkg (NEVER AGAIN) but thanks to all of you on the board I am BARGAIN HUNTING!!!!

did you try using dollar rent a car website and using the "entertain" code....

it might bring that cost for a rental car down a bit

I think you have done great! I would check out the codes on www.mousesavers.com for your car rental. I think if you try MCC or one of the others you could cut it in half! Have a great time.

we found out about that code by reading these boards too

and as you say now you have a confirmed "entertain" discount with dollar you keep checking, you can always rebook and cancel if a better "deal" comes along

In fact, sometimes "FVG" gets you a better discount with Dollar. It can't hurt to try!

Do the "Entertain" and "FVG" codes require anything to be shown to the Dollar clerks when you pick up your rental car?

We're going to Disney CA next month, and would appreciate any additional information that you can give me.

Dedala, Glad you tried "entertain" I was going to post it for you until I saw it was already posted!!

Neither FVG or Entertain require any sort of documentation, someone over on the transportation board confirmed that...

Dedala, how much are you paying for the Holiday Inn? I'm just wondering if you could do better bidding on Priceline, try like a 3* or resort at 45.00 or 50.00 per night... you could get the Marriott World or even one of the downtown disney hotels... bidding 4* ensures you will get a nice hotel... don't know your exact dates, but go check out www.biddingfortravel.com & maybe try your luck for a 3* or resort!!!

Also, keep checking Southwests site for discounts... you could get a hefty credit if the price goes down on your two tickets!!

I just got a rate of 181.64 w/tax for Dec7-14 using entertain code!Thanks so much-the lowest I had so far was close to 300.00!!!!!!You guys are the BEST!!!!!!
