Sorry for Non-DVC?

:) It is great to own DVC. This past trip was the first time DH and I said to one another "what do you want to do today?" "I don't know...hey lets stay here for a bit and just watch TV" "Yeah, let's watch Stacy!!" Meanwhile a giraffe walks by the window. How freakin cool is that!!

LOL, i was literally LOL when i saw this.... My wife and i figure that we're not at disney till we watch Stacy. Then, we find that we're watching it over, and over, and over , and over again..... :thumbsup2:rotfl2:

Wow, I guess I didn't know that we are the odd ones and most people don't eat in their villas. I really don't care to spend another $2,000 for six adults to eat outside the room on a 10 day trip. If I did, I would stay offsite and save even more money. We will just keep to ourselves and enjoy DVC our own way. Maybe DVC can save money and not put kitchens in any of their new developments, hopefully then lowering the cost per point.

Gosh, don't give them any ideas! I always stay in a studio or value 1 bedroom (when I can get them) AND do two meals a day in the room. It's easy, and easier for me to stay on my eating plan. I Like my brewed dark roast coffee!

When DH is along, we eat out 'more' but not much more - it's not as fun as it used to be when the menus were interesting and the food was more like real independent restaurant dining instead of 'Golden Corral'.

We are owners and on our 8th trip now and we still go commando. We also do not eat in our villa, except for breakfast which is grab and go. I am on vacation and I refuse to cook! Besides, we actually like the food at Disney. We always get a 2 bedroom so DD can have her own actual "room". We do love having a drink on our balcony every night though.

We have been owners since 2006, about the most I cook is grilled cheese or pop french bread pizzas in the oven and that is only done at Vero Beach. We're light breakfast eaters, I do microwave my oatmeal in the am!

Always get a 2br, so both boys can have their own beds and they are not sleeping in the living room(DH gets up early to go workout). Only time I have been in a studio is when I did a solo trip.

We get up to do Rope Drop and then head back to the resort about 1pm. Perhaps go back in the evening.

Had an amazing meal at Bluezoo last trip, DH and I did the tasting menu. We always do an "adult" meal, but the kids do like Cali Grill.

at least three times a year since we got married and the first few trips she accused me of 'running her into the ground' but she hadn't been in 30 years so I was trying to catch her up. Now, we only get up early on TSM day and never make a breakfast reservation earlier than 9:00 a.m. We eat our big meal as a late lunch and spend more time relaxing by the pool, people watching and enjoying the sights in the parks. We do wat breakfast in our villa most of the time-not to save money, but to no be rushed.

We will be taking a non DVC vaca this month and dread staying at POP but what can you do when you run out of points...
