Sorry - but simple DDP Questions??

Hi - Can someone point me in the direction of the easiest place for me to find out the 'rules' of the DDP please?

(I had never ever considered the DDP until today - so I am very clueless when it comes to all things about it!!)

My main question is - I am booking the poly for 5 nights - does that mean I get 5 TS vouchers?? If so, do I have to use them all before I check out or can I use it the night after I leave??

Best place to start is the restaurants board. There is a separate board for the Disney Dining Plan and, at the very top of that board is a 'sticky' thread with all the DDP info on it. Very useful as a starting place - then, feel free to come back and ask any other questions you may have - or ask them there, a lot of the people who post on that board are veritable DP experts.

Just wanted to add that all credits need to be used by midnight on the day of check out - and the number and type of credits you will get depend on the type of Dining Plan you add to your booking.

you get 5 TS. 5 CS and 5 snacks per day on the plan..you can use them up how you want ie 2 TS per day and use your CS after that.your not limited to using 1 of each per day
Adult and child TS are seperate on the system
Adult and child CS are the same in the system. so if your 2 addults and 2 children 1 adult in que can get 2 adult CS meals next adult can get 2 adult CS meals using ther KTTW card
If 2 adults and 2 children under 10 thats 20 of each you can get.any unused expire on midnight of the day you check out,so if your moving to anouther hotel in disney you still use the KTTW card till midnight

Amy the main points seem to be covered,if you have/get the basic then you get 1TS,1CS & 1 snack per day but it's up to you how you use them. TS includes main course & dessert,you can't swap dessert for a starter.CS includes dessert also,at breakfast they don't do dessert so you get an extra drink,fruit doesn't count as that's a snack! Be aware that some of the carts in the parks don't accept DDP,mostly the coffee type carts but the sign is clearly displayed,outside of this I don't think that we found one item that wasn't on the DDP,including the surf & turf at Narcossossees
