hi everyone
i know this has proberbly been asked tons of times before,is it really worth doing the twilight check in,are you likely to get better seating or shall we just get there extra early the morning we go,i will be pre booking our seat but i have heard these aren't always guarenteed i know there will be someone out there that will be able to help:D

thanks eve

We used twilight check in because it meant the actual day of the flight was a lot less rushed than normal. We didn't feel under any pressure to get to the airport several hours before our flight, which always makes the journey to Orlando seem even longer. I have no idea whether it improves your chance of better seating - I suppose it depends on your definition of better seating!

Regards

Rob

We always use Twilight Check-In - apart from an extra day's holiday we enjoy the Gatwick Hilton with it's free parking and being able to have a relaxed meal in the evening and wander the airport shops when they are not very busy. The next morning also means a nice lie in instead of queueing - and yes you do get a better choice of seat location if you use Twilight Check-In.

Best wishes

Use the twilight checkin for all our flights with Virgin. Always pre-book our seats anyway and have never had a problem plus you might be able to move to something better! Plus in the morning you just walk straight through to duty free without having to queue with 350 other people trying to check-in and trying to keep bored kids occupied. Plus you can lay in a bit longer prior to going to the airport.

Shame that Virgin stopped their Downtown Disney check-in and hope in the future they bring it back.

9 WEEKS AND COUNTING

You must use it. Well worth the travel to the airport the evening before. If only to avoid the long wait at check-in the morning of your flight - you only need to get through the boarding gate 90 minutes before your flight - still plenty of time for duty free before you board.

It's worth going to Twilight Check-in just to avoid the check-in queue on flight day.
We queued 5mins for Twilight. On day of flight I wouldn't like guess how many HOURS long that queue was!!!!!!!

hi all
ok twilight check in it is:D i'll pre book our seats anyway, when i say better seating hopefully we might be able to get the exit seats as my inlaws dh is 6"1 and a little on the large side
there are 8 of us travelling altogether and we hope to be seated near to each other, when we went in november 01 the queue was right down to the doors where you come in the airport and it took about 2 hours(if my memory serves me right)and that was getting there 4 hours before our flight they only ask you to be 3 hours before don't they
i do hope they bring back dtd check-in
thanks everyone
