Thanks everyone! I feel better now! I like the idea of buying the flight down with points and then pay for flights home. It feels less confusing since I am new to this points stuff anyway. I did see the April flights open in November now! THANKS!!

Is the 50k reward still available from SW? We just got a flyer in the mail for 25k. If the 50k is not around now does anyone know when it might be offered again? Also what is the estimated dollar value of 25k points?
