Sorry another Memory Maker question-ugh!!

I apologize in advance:
I purchased Memory Maker. The people I am traveling with are all linked in my Family and Friends.
If one of them has a photo taken with their magic band it will show up on my MDE or will it go on all 4 of our MDE's?
So confused and so afraid to do something wrong!

I was wondering the same thing, if I understand your question right. If I buy the Memory Maker, and they're linked in my family and friends and then they take have a picture taken and scan their magic band, will it show up in my memory maker even though I wasn't present when the picture was taken ?

If you're linked as F&F in each other's MDE and you've given each other permission to view each other's photos, then all photos will appear in everyone's PhotoPass accounts. But only those who have paid for Memory Maker or who have an AP with unlimited downloads will be able to download them at no charge. Those who don't have MM or the right kind of AP will see a watermark across the photos and will have to pay to download them.

So, I was the one who paid for the MM, I will be the only one to download the pictures? So, the people who I am F&F can view the pictures but I am the only one who can download them?

The cool part (or possibly creepy part, depending) is that if you have linked friends and family, you'll see the other's pictures even if you're not there. Our DIL and grandson went this spring. We got to be with them vicariously through their photo pass pictures.

One thing to be careful of: Let's say you are linked as Friends and Family with your sister and she manages her kids' accounts. On our last trip, if those kids scanned their MBs, they would show up in her Photopass photos, but not the main account where they could be downloaded. It was hard to figure that out, but a customer service rep fixed it for us.

You have to do it on the Disney world site, you can't do it in the app but once you select one of your friends you'll see the below:

When anyone has a photopass picture taken, it will show up in their MDE . . . it will also show up in the MDE of anyone whom they are connected to via friends and family, AND whom they have allowed to view their photopass photos in the friends and family guest details for that friend.

So, if say I have 4 family members going with me. All 4 are in my friends and family, and all 4 allow me to see their photopass photos. They have NOT however, added each other in friends and family, OR they have added each other, but not allowed photopass photos to be seen in the guest details. If member 1 gets a photo taken, members 2, 3, and 4 will NOT see it, only member 1, and I will be able to see it.
