With rumors rising of DHS updating, I've been curious what the Disney community thinks about the Sorcerer's Hat at DHS. Please feel free to give your opinion and vote in the poll whether you think the hat should be kept or removed.

Personally, I don't mind the hat because I've never been to the park without it being there, although I would like the Chinese Theater more if it had a different attraction inside. :duck:

I like the hat and based on the choices, I would prefer the hat to stay. However, with the updates coming to DHS, I wouldn't be surprised if the hat goes and another icon takes its place.

I would like to see the hat go. I like the water tower with mickey ears better as a HS icon.

I was so disappointed when the hat went up in front of the theater.
I like the Old Hollywood look.

Isn't there also rumor of the Chinese Theater going bye, bye?

AND, some newer images that showcase all 4 parks, show the castle, the tree of life, the epcot ball and TOT, not sure if anyone else has noticed that, but I have. Seems to me, that subtle image may suggest the hat will be gone in the future, but that's just my two cents. :thumbsup2

I was really surprised the first time I saw it there. It completely destroys the setting. I like the hat fine, but it needed to have been put somewhere else.

I just came back to post this. I went to the Disneyworld web page and there was a large image that showed the icons of MK, AK and EPCOT, but the icon for DHS was Hollywood Tower of Terror. I find this really interesting because the Tower of Terror is not unique to DHS.

Kinda interesting, aye. :) Like why would they do that?

Its not that I hate the hat it just should be somewhere else. I was there before the hat and after the hat. I think it just looks misplaced. I hope they don't take the Chinese theater down. I love it and love the great movie ride. Actually my favorite at the park. Just a memories type of thing. Its like Its a Small World for me. Not that I'm comparing the two.

I don't hate the hat, but I'd prefer it elsewhere (Animation Courtyard somewhere?). I think the Chinese Theatre is a much better "weenie".

I've never seen the park without the hat, and I'm not a huge fan of change. I'd like for it to stay.

I hate the hat. I'm not sure why they chose to plunk it down right where they did. The street seemed so much longer without it there. I do think it is a great pin shop, but they should have put it somewhere else.

Puhleeez, Disney, move the hat. It ruins the fantastic view when you first enter the studios......IMO.

I'm obviously having a duh moment, but what is the chinese theater and what is the attraction inside?

I like the hat but I also liked the mouse ears and water tower. Studios to us is about ToT and RnRC so either of those could be our icon.
