Okay, so I want to find out who likes the Sorcerer's Hat at MGM. Do the poll.

What poll? Where's the poll? I DESPISE the hat, it ruins the MGM entry experience by blocking the Chinese Theater!!!! One of Disney's most idiotic moves. Please please please have them remove it!

I love it. I think every park needs a center icon. That tower doesn't do it for me. I think it defines MGM!

I like the hat. It's a little big, and I wish it was more than a stinky old pin shop, but I don't mind it. Didn't One Man's Dream open in the same year as the hat? I hope that stays for a long time; it's one of our favorites at MGM.

I voted Other. It looks ok, but I wish it wasn't there. Seeing the Chinese Theater at the end of the street always gave me the feeling that I was in the fantasy Hollywood of the 1930s or 40s. I miss that. the Hat is kind of cool, especially at night, but I'd rather see if somewhere else and not Hollywood Boulevard.

To be honest, I dont think it should be anything but maybe a Meet and Greet. That's my personal opinion...

I like it, it gives the Studios more of a new age type of feel with that Disney magic to it.

Why do you think it's any eyesore? I understand the whole Chinese theatre look but unfortunately I think that Disney realized that many people going to the parks in today's age don't even know about that location but they all know about the hat cause it was in FAntasia and Mickey wears it all the time.

The hat is god-awful! I hate it! It ruins the atomosphere, doesn't fit with the achitecture, blocks the view of the theatre.

Don't replace it, move it the old veiw was awesome

When the old Sorcerer in the Sky fireworks used to go off around the theatre it was breath taking. I really miss that veiw.

And thats a question I always want to ask...how many of the people who love the hat or love the Epcot hand have never seen it any other way?

I think the way you first see these Icons is the image that makes you feel warm and fuzzy (With the exception I hope of people who first saw the castle when it was pink )
