Sorcerer's Hat at MGM

The hat doesn't do anything for me. Please redo it with some magic touches or get rid of it. The hat seems so out of place.

I voted other- I don't hate it as such, however I hate that it covers up one of the best hidden mickeys there was!!

I didn't really like it at first, I loved seeing the Chinese Theater. But now that I'm used to it, I have grown to love the Hat and I think it's really cute! I just walk around it to see the Theater.

I especially like to take pictures of my family "wearing" the hat. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get any to come out well enough to keep. Another reason to go back!

I'm with all the others who want it to stay in the park, just not blocking the Chinese Theater view. I'm also with the others who think it looks pretty cool at night.

My first time seeing the castle was the pink castle, and yes it brings back fond memories. When I got to see it "normal" it was like seeing it for the first time all over again.

I voted "I Kinda Like It" I actually really like the hat, I just don't like where it's at. I love the icon of the Chinese Theater and wish that it could still be seen at the end of Hollywood.

I don't know where else they could put the hat (especially since Spaceship Earth and Cindy's Castle are both front and center as their respective parks' symbols), but that's my two cents.

Having just been to MGM, I like the sorcerers hat.

Though I wish it didn't have to cover up the Chinese Theater.

I loved the ears. I voted that I hate the hat but if it was moved it wouldn't be bad. It's such a shame that it blocks the theatre. It was great before. When you walked onto Hollywood Blvd and saw the theatre,you knew you were @ MGM. Just like walking onto Main St @ MK and seeing the castle.

I'm not a fan of the ears. I love the hat, but that view of the Chinese Theater is really cool. At this point I'm kinda undecided

I don't love it or hate it, but I do wish they would take it down so that the replica of Mann's Chinese Theatre was the park centralpoint as it was originally intended.

I first saw the park without it and the theatre did not strike me

the hat does - sorcerer mickey is my favorite though - so maybe I am a bit biased!

I like the Hat but wish they move it . It would look better if it was the Icon entering the park rather then blocking the Chinese Theather.

i like the MGMG tank thing, but you hardly see it in the park, only when you driving in disney, only on the backlot tour.

The hat is awful and I wish they would tear it down. I worked at GMR while they were building it and it was so SAD!!!

BTW, the building of the hat has to do with copyright issues for the Chinese Theatre and other things MGM....so I don't think we will see them tearing it down any time soon

I like it. MGM, neeed something big. Every other WDW has a big center piece, so why not a big sorceres hat at MGM. I think they could have added a little to it...o r sold more inside, or even made it into a ride.
