Sophia the First dress...yellow crinoline?

Hi y'all,

Thanks to a wonderful Dis'er who posted that these dresses were available at the Disney Store, I ordered my little peanut one of them. Got it in the mail yesterday and when I pulled it out of the box, I noticed something odd.

The slip underneath (crinoline/petticoat) was a light fluorescent yellow. It looks very unusual. I would have thought it would have been white?

Has anyone else received a dress that has this coloring?

It's underneath so it won't really be "seen" but I'm just perplexed...

Thoughts/insight?

I'm watching an episode of Sofia right now and the crinoline is light yellow to my eyes. That is a complimentary shade to lavender so it works. I forgot, we also have a stuffed doll of Sofia and her crinoline is the light yellow as well.

I noticed it a light yellow when I watched an episode on the DVR. It looks white on the Dis Store website, so I think I was just surprised. It's definitely not what I would call a pale yellow, it's more neon.

My daughter is sleeping right now so I can't check for sure but I'm pretty sure ours is white. Yellow seems strange to me!

We had a dress from the first bunch at the Disney Store- almost positive it was white.

We have a dress from the second bunch at the Disney Store- it's yellow.

It's yellow on the show and although it sounds weird, I think it looks nice...more interesting and not so boring. IMO

Just wanted to update this post for any folks who may be searching this topic in the future...I wrote to the Disney Store and here was their response...our crinoline was definitely not "creme" or "cream" but neon yellow. Not sure if we'll keep or not...
