Soooo confused re: hotel requirements

DF and I emailed our wedding consultant to see if we had to do our 4 nights at a Disney resort consecutively, or if we could split it up over the time we are there because my family has a condo about 5 minutes from entry to Disney. He emailed me back saying that the nights do not have to be consectuive and that we don't have to stay 4 nights; we can stay for only 2 if we want.

So confused! Has anyone else heard this?

I know the nights don't have to be consecutive but i've never heard of anyone having an escape wedding not having to stay 4 nights.

Just double checked the website it says:

I'm planning an Escape Wedding. Is there a "minimum stay" requirement? How many guests can I invite?
Disney's Escape Wedding packages require a minimum of a four night stay (for the couple) at an owned and operated Walt Disney World Resort. For additional guests, up to 18 maximum additional elements are at an additional cost (note: some ceremony locations have a maximum occupancy of 10 guests.) You can also choose one of the following locations for your ceremony: Disney's Wedding Pavilion, Sea Breeze Point at Disney's BoardWalk Resort, the Wedding Gazebo at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, Sunset Pointe at Disney's Polynesian Resort, or Sunrise Terrace at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.

That's what I thought. When we asked about the nights needing to be consectuive, he said no, they don't. Then, he said that we didn't need to stay the four nights, that we could stay only 2 if we wanted.

I guess I'm just going to have to email him back for clarification. I just hate to be such a PITA this early in the planning process
