Does anyone own one of these gadgets? They're about the size of a thin paperback book, and hold the text of around 80 books. Plus it's expandable, and can play MP3s too. They use "e-Ink" technology, and it's supposed to be just like reading a book, even in bright sunlight. And the battery goes weeks before needing a charge.
I'm thinking about asking for one of these things for a retirement gift from my job. I intend to travel a lot (and spend plenty of time in bright sunlight
), and it'd be nice to load it up with a lot of books and hit the road. But I'm a little skeptical, and want to hear from owners.
