Just a quick question...does anyone know how to change the shutter speed on this camera. I have had it for about 6 years and realizes that the shutter speed is slow (I have missed some great shots because of it). Any ideas on the setting? I have looked online and the sites don't explain what to do in a clear and easy to understand way. I love the camera but wish I understood it better!

You might be confusing shutter speed with shutter lag. A lot of the P&S cameras take a long time to shoot the next shot.

If you are talking about fast shutter speeds as in taking sports type shots, freezing action, etc...

Select S on your dial. Then use the control buttons to set your shutter speed.

That link will give you links to the manual to help you. Just add http:// to the beginning (i don't have enough posts to post links:( )
