Our 60" Sony TV was delivered in September of '06. Sunday it died. It would not turn on. After three calls to Sony - it's covered under manufacturer warranty, but since there is no authorized Sony service rep in our area......
Drumroll please.......
They are replacing the TV with a brand new one.
I am anxious to see if it's identical - as this particular one has been replaced by one that is a step up. I guess it's just whether or not they have any of this one in stock.
Sony is falling all over themselves apologizing..... so in addition to all of the horrible customer service stories posted here - here is a very positive CS situation.
