Sony A300 Help

While I was at WDW something happened to my LCD screen and it stopped working, so I ordered a new one from Amazon. Well, that came on Saturday and I tried to replace it and there is a black plastic clip that holds the sensor for the LCD screen in place...As I am trying to get the old screen out, the clip broke in 2 pieces and fell out. Now I am trying to find a replacement.

Any help to find one, it would be appreciated!!!!

Have you tried contacting Sony? I had the same thing happen to my LCD screen in June but was lucky the camera was still under warranty. The one time I was glad to pay for the extended one. Good luck.

I have to call them at lunchtime today. It is a long distance call, so that is why I am waiting for lunch here at work. Unfortunately the camera is 3 years old, and there isn't a warranty. If I have to, I can order the connector for it and take it to the local camera store to have them fix it. I am just hoping I can order just that clip and get it installed. I don't want to have to buy a new camera, but if the cost is going to be too much, I will have to bite the bullet and get a newer one.
