Son's Bday in Carsland

We will begin our vacation on our son's bday and he has requested dinner at Flo's V8 for his bday dinner. I was planning on grabbing some treats from the Jolly Holiday Bakery. Any tips or recs for making the bday portion of our day feel a bit more special (not that eating dinner in CarsLand is not special ...)

When would we be able to book a MaxPass for Radiator Springs? Upon arrival in the park? Thanks!

This sounds like a great way to celebrate a birthday and start a vacation! What types of treats are you getting from Jolly Holiday Bakery? Perhaps you can save yourself some steps and a possible headache and purchasing the treats in DCA instead. I forget the name of the candy shop (I think Trolley Treats) you can get cake pops among other goodies to carry to Flo's.

Depending on what time you enter, if there are any passes left, you can get them.

Just outside of Carsland is the Ghiradelli ice cream shop. That is a great place for a birthday treat.

How old is your son? If you could time your FP so you can ride, eat, and watch the shazam moment that'd be neat. If he's younger there is also the fun dance party with DJ.

That sounds like a great birthday! We love Flo's. You'll want to look up sunset times or ask a cast member when the Sh'boom happens (they play the Sh'boom song and all the neon lights turn on). It's magical! Dj's dance party is our second favorite, especially at night.

Don't forget to have your son wear his Happy Birthday button on his special day! You can get one at City Hall, Chamber of Commerce, most shops (ask at the registers), some CMs (look for those with pockets), etc. If you son would like cupcakes, you can find those at various locations in the parks and at Sprinkles in DTD. Have your son take birthday photos with whichever characters are doing M&Gs by the Cozy Cones!
