Hey all. Just need a little guidance. My son turns 16 on Jan 1st. My plan is to have a cake presented to him at the Top of the World Lounge as the fireworks are going off at midnight. Yes I am staying there. I have been looking at the Cake threads and there are so many to choose from. Would I have to contact them (TOTWL), Bay Lake or Contemporary for arrangements? Is there some sort of link of different cakes and price lists? I see people ordered from different hotels.

Recommend you call the celebrations line directly. May not work given that TOWL is not a restaurant by the strictest definition. I would call.

I have had a custom cake at TOWL-I didn't buy it- a friend ordered it for a night we were all meeting at the lounge so you can get 1 there. I believe you contact the Contemporary bakery. TOWL is actually a part of The Wave restaurant it is not actually a self-contained business entity. As far as the timing it will of course be a little harder during the fireworks as the place is dark and generally the servers don't deliver things during the fireworks but you could get it right before the fireworks- I think once she mentioned it to our server it took about 15-20 minutes to get it out to us. I think it had to be brought up at that time so make sure you have time for that as well. Normally the lounge loses at midnight but it may be open later that night. If they are closed at midnight you would have to get it and pay for it beforehand.
