Hi!

We are staying at Pop Century April 25 - May 2 for my son's 13th birthday on April 30. I'm looking for ideas to celebrate his birthday. We are already planning dinner at Chef Mickeys but I was wondering what else would make his birhday special.

Thanks,

Kathy

Hi,

My sister surprised my kids and had arranged for them to do the Seas Aqua Tour at Epcot. They both loved it, but I have no idea what she paid for that opportunity.

I'd look into something like that if it was my child's birthday and if it doesn't break the bank. He's too young to be able to do the Segway, but there are other tours and special experiences to check into.

*As an alternative to Hooters, maybe you can track down Jasmine. My ds17 was quite enthralled with her and her costume (or lack of :rotfl: ).

I have a boy who we are taking for his 15th birthday this year. He got to pick out what park, where to eat, and he will get the gift card from Disney. I asked him for your son what one thing at Disney he thought a boy his age might want to do. He said a steam trains tour at MK which isn't too terribly expensive.

As for hooters my DS would die of embarassment if we took him there. lol We tease him and ask if he wants to go there for dinner when we see one. Then again he doesn't want anyone knowing it is his birthday at Disney because he hates the attention on him.

My DS will be 13 on April 30 as well. We are not able to go to Disney until June because I am a teacher. Happy Birthday to your DS!

Buy a cake from Boardwalk Bakery
Mini-golf
Rent a boat for an hour
Disney Quest
Take a tour at Animal Kingdom

definitely get the disney birthday gift card=75 to spend on whaterver he likes. I also would recommend doing the Hoop de doo review show sometime during your stay, he'd love it!

I really wasn't kidding.

Ds went there for 12 and 13 year old birthday. We took a truckload of boys and they had the best time ever! The girls were soooooooooooo nice to them and we tipppped them well!

Our waitress did warn us though...she said" ya, he is going to give you fits and break lots of hearts".....she was right on the money !

But..trust me...take a bunch of boys to Hooters! We always go there with baseball teams and basketball teams after tournaments!

We have waterpark fun and more so I know we will be going to Disney Quest at least twice (DS would go every day if he could). I think he might like the mini golf or boats if they are not too expensive.

Thanks again,

Kathy
