Ok, I've got the chorus of Pink's "Trouble" rattling around my brain, having just heard it a few DAYS ago :rockband: and it got me to wondering what songs (not necessarily songs on the radio right now) that when you hear them you just know you're stuck with them for the next couple days (and no fair citing "It's a Small World"...that's a given).

I just have a few words for you...

Wanna Fanta! Dontcha wanna wanna Fanta! Fanta! Fanta!

That stupid Fanta commercial....

UGH!

I used to torture a guy I worked with in this way: Any time he'd pick on me, I'd lean over and sing into his ear, "Mr. Sandman--bring me a dream." He'd back off screaming, "NO! NO! I"M SORRY!!"

Then he'd hear it in his head all day. When will people learn they should never trust me with this kind of information?

At the moment, Down on the Corner by CCR, that's been stuck there for several days. Great song, but when I wake up hearing it in my head, that's a little much.

Because of the title of this thread I have now got...

Can't get you out of my head - Kylie Minogue

going round in my head! :p

It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small world after all
It's a small small world.....

Now...I said no fair mentioning Small World ;)

Actually, I always found that friggin' "Imagination" song FAR more cloying...We were walking around for DAYS with that stuck in our heads after the first time we rode it.

Hey, how about "Cheer up sleepy Jeeaann, Oh what can it mean...to a...Daydream Believer and a .....Homecoming queen..."

AAArrrggghh

2. From Golden Girls episode when Rose writes the song about Miami:

Miami, Miami
You've got style!
Blue skies, sunshine,
white sand by the mile!

3. Mr. Sandman, thanks NMAmy!:p

I can't help it... I'm listening to my Disney compilation CD and that's what was playing! Coincidence? I don't think so!!!!:earseek:

American Pie.

It hangs around for days in my head. Just when it clears, one of my kids start singing it. With all those lyrics, it's no wonder. :D

You're most welcome, Mrs. Sparrow! It's my goal to just spread sunshine wherever I can!

At this particular moment:

Do you want to know a secret (doo-wah-ooo)
Do you promise not to tell
Oh-oh-whoa-oh, closer...

(heard this Beatles tune this morning and haven't been able to shake it yet)

Could be worse.

I've just been watching Friends on the TV. Now I have "Smelly cat" going around in my head. Oh and the "Happy Honnuka Monica" song

Why why why DO I open these threads??????

Arrrggggghhhhhh--now I have Small World and Hey Ya competing for brain space.

10th grade history honors final.

Question number one.

"What is a flint stone?"

Oh man, I failed that test best the Flintstones theme was stuck in my head after that.
