Songs that make you all weepy

Find Your Wings by Mark Harris. I can't hear it without sobbing.

Forgot one:

I'm Already There by Lonestar
esp. the version that has the soldier's wives and children talking between each verse about how they miss their daddy. That one even makes my dh and brother cry too.
Those country songs really pull on your heartstrings. :goodvibes

I love both of those! Also "Waking her Home" by Mark Schultz.

For me it's Little Miss Magic by Jimmy Buffet. It is just heartfelt, simple and beautiful and I imagine my daughters dancing to it with their father at their weddings. (DDs are only 3 yrs and 1 mo old right now..so I got awhile before that happens).

She's constantly amazed by the blades of
the fan on the ceiling
And the funny little faces she makes
can't help but be appealing
She loves to ride through the town with the top down
Feel the warm breeze on her gentle skin
She is my next of kin

Chorus
I see a little more of me everyday
I catch a little more moustache turning grey
Your mother is the only other woman for me
Little Miss Magic what you gonna be?

Sometimes I catch her dreaming and wonder
where that little mind meanders
Is she down along the shore or
strolling cross the broad Savannahs
I know in time she'll learn to make up her own mind
In time she's gonna learn to fly
Oh that I won't deny

Sunrise, Sunset and Baby of Mine always make me sad. I guess I just don't want my baby to grow up.

The one song that makes me cry every single time I hear it is "When She Loved Me" by Sarah McLaughlin from Toy Story 2. It always makes me think of my DD growing up and not needing me anymore. I don't just tear up, either: I SOB!!

I always cry when I hear "You'll be in my Heart" by Phil Collins. It reminds me exactly how I feel about my son. He is my world and I don't want him to grow up!

Everyone of the already mentioned songs make me teary. So does "I Hope You Dance" by LeAnn Womack. It gets me everytime.
Actually, a lot of thingsmake me weepy lately.

The Christmas Shoes. Man, whoever's idea it was to make Christmas songs sad should be cut out from music making. It's so sad.

"Amazing Grace" does it for this 53 yo DDad !! Has ever since I heard it at my dad's funeral (he was 39).:thumbsup2

I'm with those who get weepy at "When Somebody Loved Me." Actually, a lot of Sarah Maclachlan's ballads get me.

For me more, though, is "Beautiful Dreamer," for my DD (I sang it to her on the night she was born and still sing it to her every night (she's 5 1/2)). "Baby of Mine," my song for my son, who no longer lets me sing to him.

And then, "The Love of God," also one that I sang to both of my children.
