Song pricing help

I'd like to secure our seats for January 2005 from BDL on Song. If I purchase at the going price, will I be able to switch to a lower price when/if they have a sale? I really don't understand how all this works and hoping someone can give me a few tips.

If the price goes down you call the 800 number. They give you a voucher credit for the next ticket that you purchase. I was also told that you have to go to the airport in person to use the voucher (I am also from CT and they told me I could go to the little airport in Bridgeport). I believe they also said you could use the voucher through a travel agent.
