Song or Jet Blue

Hi. If you had your choice between Song or Jet Blue, which would you choose and why? They are both the same price and good flight times. We will be flying out of Boston. It will be me and my husband and our 3 yr old dd and our 1 yr old ds. Thanks for any advice or tips that you can give me.

I'm not sure if Song has their personal tvs on every seat set up. Jet Blue definetly has that. Jet Blue is on time, and even early some times. They have great customer service. I have only had one problem with them in all the times I flew with them (Maybe 4 or 5 round trips). They lost our luggage on the way back home, and we had to wait at least a week for them to deliver it to our home. That was not fun, but they gave us credit on our next flight to make up for it. They thought it was put on the flight after ours, and offered us food vouchers if we decided to wait 1-2 hours at the airport to wait for it. DH and BIL passed on the offer otherwise we probably would have gone home a little later with our luggage.

I based my decision on price. We flew Song in Jan 04 using miles and will be flying Song again in May 04 using miles. For our Sept trip Jet Blue had much better prices at the time we were looking to book our airfare so we are booked with them for our Sept 04 trip. We booked on Song for our Jan 05 trip for about $200.00 inc taxes and fees per ticket.

I would go with the flight times if price is the same. They more or less offer the same services so all things being equal go with the flight times that best fit your schedule.

Normally I'd say JetBlue. However their fares, at the time I was looking, were higher than Song. So we're flying Song in July.

With regards to the TV's on Song....according to their site all crafts will have the TV's installed by end of March. So I figure by the end of April/May they should all be equiped.

There have been some postings here that people who have just recently flown Song have had the TV's and other "entertainment" items on the plans.
