That is QUITE the generic statement. You can always tell the country music listener from the country hater by ignorant statements like this.

the same can be said for what most say about hip-hop and rap....i was using that more as a tool to show that its easy to pick apart a small aspect of a genre...that being that all rap is demeaning to women...which its not...i was more or less just messing around cuz i do enjoy some country, just not the ones that do exactly what i said.

thank you...yea im not trying to say that some rap isnt bad cuz most mainstream stuff is garbage but a lot of other hip hop and rap is amazing as well...which i guess can be said for country to...even though i hate to admit that lol

I friggin' HATE this song. It took me forever to get past the irritating, angry music to finally listen to the lyrics, and then my only reaction was a hearty "wth?!" because that's such a stupid, stupid thing to write a song about. Hey, guys, let's write a song about vandalism! Betcha it'll be a huge success with the kids!

Blah. Maybe it's not as bad as the super-sexualised garbage that gets so much playtime, but it still bugs me. (Oh, and I did a double take when I realised that the chick singing the song was the one who recently had a big hit with Jesus Take the Wheel.
