I am looking into booking Christmas Flights, and was wondering if anyone know the canellations policies for Song, Delta or Jet Blue. I usually fly Unites or Us Airways. There are flights for 175 on song right now, but I think Jet Blue saw a little cheaper than that this year. Thanks. :sunny:

We had to cancel a trip to Orlando in 2004, we purchased our tickets from JetBlue about 5 months ahead. They charged us something like $20 per person to cancel the flight and gave credit for us to use on our next flight.

The cancellation policies/costs are on the respective airlines' websites.
Keep in mind that even if you book on Song, by December you will actually be flying Delta.
Also, if you cancel, you will (should) have one year from the date of PURCHASE - not the date of flight - to use any credits.

For a Christmastime fare? Under $200? Flying rom the Northeast? I would JUMP on it. Especially if the times are good for you.

DS and I are flying Easter Saturday to the following Saturday THIS year, on JetBlue with one stop/connection for around $200 and I was thrilled with that.

Anything under $200, I would buy in a heartbeat, and not look back.

can you tell me the flights you found for 175? also what airport are you leaving from. thanks.

They no longer care about the customers and are just worried about raising revenues due to thier bankrupcy. With the storm in the NE they were no help in letting passengers rebook with no penalties. They made me pay > $700 to rebook my flighs that were due to fly in the blizzard. They FINALLY announced late today they will waive the fee but have informed me they will not refund fees!!!!!

Bottom line is the do not care anymore .... and I was a loyal Delta customer before today.
