somewhere other than harmony barber shop for first haircut?

As I mentioned in another post the harmony barber shop will be closed while we are at Disney . I sort of had my heart set on my 3 year olds first haircut being done there. Is there somewhere else we can go where she will get the Disney treatment and maybe the mickey ears?

I don't think so. There are Beauty shops in various resorts, but they are not like the Barber Shop on Main Street. And no Mickey Ears

They won't do a haircut, but she is finally old enough for the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique experience...and longer hair will help, lol. No Mickey ears, but she'll get a tiny crown, pixie dust, nail polish and feel like a real princess all day (hint...save a few dollars and pick up a costume (or two) right after Halloween to bring with you).

Edited to add: And if you do bring along a dress for her, do NOT put her in it before her appointment....bring it with you and give it to the Fairy Godmother in Training....they will put it in a dressing room for her to go and be changed into her dress. If she arrives wearing her dress, they just move her to the chair for her hair/nails. It's a big part of the experience that I think "I" enjoyed almost as much as my girls.....watching them change out of jeans and a T and getting into dresses to go get their hair/nails done.....the way they twirled around looking in all the mirrors at themselves and declaring each other "absolutely beautiful" is a memory I will never forget. If you don't want to carry clothes around rent a small locker. (Of course with that young you'll probably have a stroller to stuff it in....my girls were 13 so no stroller for us. They're 18 now and still have fond memories....and are more than a bit miffed Disney no longer lets over 12 year olds do this experience. )
