DH and I are arriving in Orlando at 9:15am, Monday. For the two of us to our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn Seaworld), roundtrip, the cost on Mears Transportation is $48.

Is the price worth it? Is there a comparable town car out there?

Thanks!!

Click the link above for a rate, Fl Tours is great as is Tiffany. I don't know where that hotel is but I imagine the fare for a towncar would be $75-85, less $5 coupon, plus tip. So for two people its a bit more expensive but....

For the extra money you have a driver meet you in the baggage claim and drive you immediately to your resort with a complimentary grocery stop if you wish. Ahh its wonderful........

With mears you get your luggage, wait in line at the Mears window to buy the pass (our line was Loooong), get a pager and wait in the "cattle call" with many others. Then when they are ready for you (our wait was 45 minutes) you board a coach bus with 30-40 other people and hit several other resorts on the way to yours.

On the way back to the resort you are picked up at your resort WAY earlier than necessary so that you can again visit several resorts and several other airlines before you get to yours.

On our last trip using Mears we were almost to late to board the flight despite being picked up 3 hours prior to flight time - no lie!

It's your DISNEYMOON.......for pete's sake spend the extra 40-50$$$$. Unless you want to wait around and be PACKED into a van while they 'try' to coordinate the dropoff sequence and wait until the van fills and possibly have some luggage on your lap!! That was our experience.

Not a very romantic start!!

I believe you will be happy with either Tiffany of FLtours. BOth have great service and LOTS of loyal repeat customers here.

Thank you so much for your honest opinions. We've made a reservation with Tiffany, as it turned out to be only ~$20 more than the Mears shuttle, and $20 is worth our privacy, a grocery stop and direct service to & from the hotel.

Thanks again!! :sunny:
