Somewhat non live blog of 9/3 sailing

Thanks- it’s frustrating how non specific it is.. hopefully it’ll get defined better in the next 9 days 😂
Yeah, I definitely got the feeling that this being the first Halloween cruises they were still trying to figure it all out. With spreading everything out it is hard for there to be just one Halloween and one pirate night.

I will say everyone just sort of went with the flow and had fun with it. People just dressed up however they wanted and it was great. Pirates, princesses, super heroes, dinosaurs, witches and wizards, pumpkins and robots, all together. People just had fun.

What else can I say... It was a wonderful trip that was too short. Even with the changes, we had a great time. Loved the fact that the ship never felt crowded. Covid protocols were manageable. Food was as good as ever. Service was exceptional. The crew is so happy to be back at work, and you can tell.

If you are sailing soon and have Peter and Vinny as your dining team, tell them Jason says hello!

And if anyone is thinking of booking that Cat5E balcony, DO IT. I think the best part of our cruise was watching sunset on that balcony.
We had Peter and Vinny on the 8/13 sailing! How fun!

Thanks so much for sharing! Out of curiosity, what time was that photo of the atrium taken? I never have seen it that empty!!

About 10pm

What is it like being on a practically empty ship? Still fun?
Yes! We actually prefer when it's less crowded. I hate the crowds. It felt very similar to our last cruise on the Dream....the Hurricane Dorian cruise. So many people cancelled that sailing it also felt empty and we loved it. I like being able to interact with characters without a 30 min line, or arrive at a show 5 min before instead of 45 min early to get seats.

Was your server Peter from France or another Peter? We had Peter on a WBPC cruise and he remembered us later on another cruise.
