Goodbye HOTHS DreamView attachment 602578
JRapps thank you so much for the wonderful ongoing trip report! Read every word. I took my daughter on the 8/27 cruise and am going back with my wife and friends for the 10/29 Dream. Reading your posts makes me eager to be on the Dream on Halloween night! Safe travels home to you.
Sorry I never looked. Are they still doing the plastic drink of the day cups????? Over the years we’ve had them break and are down to 1! Going on the magic in November ❤
And if anyone is thinking of booking that Cat5E balcony, DO IT. I think the best part of our cruise was watching sunset on that balcony.
This. This is why I’m still all in on my November sailing despite the ever changing rules and all the uncertainty. Exactly this.
We will be in 10158 cabin on the 17th cruise. Can't wait! How's this for a Balcony view
I assume they are the cruise staff members from seeing the show in 2017 and 2018.Jason, thanks so much for your report. We were reliving our recent Dream cruise through your great reporting.
In you last pic of the Halloween Party, were those two people CM's? They seem to have goggles on, but she looks like she just got out of the pool (hair) and is cold (gloves?). I'm sure this must be the show we saw them rehearsing, but I don't remember goggles.
I think those are supposed to be Halloween costumes...maybe?Jason, thanks so much for your report. We were reliving our recent Dream cruise through your great reporting.

Just got home...now have to unpack and do laundry. Ugh.Thank you so much for taking the time to report "live" to us. It really was great to follow along with your cruise. I hope you will post some additional photos when you are back home and settled in.
One question - were you ever turned away from a venue because it had reached capacity?
Yes they are part of the entertainment staff dressed in costumes.Jason, thanks so much for your report. We were reliving our recent Dream cruise through your great reporting.

They're really was no "pirate night". People definitely dressed in pirate costumes but others were in Halloween costumes at the same time. Hopefully those who are on the 4 night that left today will get more of a specific pirate theme evening. Was there still an attempt at ‘pirate night/buccaneer whatever’? Or was it just sort of Halloween sorta not both non embarkation nights?

I didn't mind that the fireworks were rethemed as Ever After, but we did miss the fact that it used to have more of a storyline with pirates. Not sure if this is due to covid changes or not.
