Ugh. Try the eye roll combined with that sigh/ah sound with attitude after every other word. Momuhhh....whyuhhh? I want to get the Hannah Montanna shirtuhhh!

I get the "Yeah Right" or the "Yeah Sure" from my DD 11.

You only get an eyeroll? No "whatever" and sigh???

DD as of 7am has lost the computer,tv,and everything else except for poop scoopng duty in the backyard!

I am also a super big fan of writing sentances. 100 "Rolling my eyes is rude" usually helps, for a little bit.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that goes old school with the writing sentences. Last year DD decided to try her hand at Graffiti with writing her name on the bus seat...bus driver was shocked as she's well behaved on the bus usually. Ofcourse I grounded her and took away everything electronic and fun...computer, tv, game system, etc. Since she had soooooo much free time, she spent the week copying the definition of vandalism from the dictionary. I've actually had several teachers high-five me when they heard about it.

Yea, our conversations usually go like this:

DD: My hand hurts!
Me: So do my feelings, keep writing!


And I am sure at that point there is more eye rolling. I've always told her you can think it, but don't say it. ( This after a converstation about her father in which she called him a "dumb butt". While I agreed with her, I did explain it's not nice to say that. And then think about how you would feel if he called you that. I learned the art of Guilt Trips from my Grandmother)

I have been laughing about this since you posted it. This afternoon when DD rolled her eyes at me for the first time since she got off the bus (2.4 seconds after she got off the bus) I just had the mental picture of spritzing her and got hysterical - which led to more eyerolling of course, but I didn't care at that point

Wait a minute. Why am I laughing? My DH's mother did that to my DH when he was a toddler and tried pulling a tantrum.
