forget team edward and team jacob... i'm all team JASPER! yea thats right i said it. lol i <3 him!!!

the movie was pretty awesome though!!!! saw it last night and have to agree jacob was MUCH more appealing in the movie then in the books. maybe its all the new ripping muscles?! holy moly!

Oh you can have Jasper, if I can have Emmett!! YUM!!! I thought he was delicious!! Those 2 crack me up, especially at the end. I loved when Jasper was like "It'd be nice not wanting to kill you all the time!" And then how Emmett gave her a big hug!! I just love the other vampires too!

Those muscles were intense!! OH. MY. GOODNESS. I think I read he put on like TWENTY-SIX pounds of muscle mass! *drool* I loved him with his shirt off. As for Edward...his body looked bangin' under a nicely fitting shirt...but underneath it was all pasty and hairy...I wanted his shirt back on! :rotfl:

Hey Kimmy...sorry I havent been around much lately... I think I'm all caught up now. Sorry to hear about your job. The auto business just plain sucks right now. My dad was a general manager for a Buick dealership and they laid him off. That was 2 years ago and he still cant find a job. He lives in MI and the economy is just a bottomless pit there right now.

Remember to keep an open mind when your looking and something will fall into place.

Thanks. Its pretty terrible. I hope he finds something. I was actually really good friends with the GM at the Dodge store and when they closed that one, they transferred him and then like a month later sold the store they transferred him to!! So they pretty much screwed him over. I see stuff like that and can't understand why anyone would want to be in this business!! I hope your dad finds something. Has he looked around in other places or does he just want to stay in MI? Man...this dang economy!!

Well said Kimmy! Love your post!!!:goodvibes I am heading to Philadelphia to see my DH's family tomorrow night until Saturday. I am thankful for my beautiful, healthy boys, I would give up anything for them and realize how blessed I am to have been given them. I am also so very thankful for my DIS friends, as well, there is nothing like them!!!! I hope you and Landon and your Mom and Dad have a wonderful holiday this week! I will be thinking of you!!:goodvibes

Aw Kimmy! Such a sweet post! :goodvibes

I'm sorry your Broncos lost again :( That's never fun, but hey - maybe they'll beat the Giants?! Even though I know one of the Giants players, but still doesn't make me a Giants fan! Hahahahaha. I'm a total Cowboys fan all the way... born & raised. (With the Saints coming in a close 2nd...) Dad is from Texas and Mama is from the New Orleans area. And yesterday my Boys played the 1 team we despise the most... and YES, I know I live in the DC area. Hahahaha. BUT I CANT STAND THE SKINS! Yuuuuuck. :sad2:

Mmm, you're in charge of pies! How many are you making? (or buying...lol) I think for Thanksgiving we're just going to hang out here at home with the family. I'm excited to wake up and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and then eat some good home cookin'... Turkey, MASHED POTATOES<3, etc.

And PS; sorry that I haven't been around much on the trip report lately. We leave on Saturday to drive down to Disney and I have so much left to do to get ready!

i hope things work out for you job, and like others have said, mabey a better opportunity willcome up with some that you would love to do more, and would be better for you and landon.

my bears lost right with your broncos this weekend.:headache:

cutler just looked terrible last night...missing wide open guys.

he is starting in on the chicago QB curse, getting all worried aobut what the media says about him and not just going out and playing ball.

Aw, I hope Landon enjoys Thanksgiving! :)

You are thankful for such nice things.

Thanks!! Man...I just LOVE football season. That's awesome that you know a Giants player!! I've met a few Broncos in my day...a little bit ago one of them came in here to buy a car!! I was a fake Cowboys fan for a while!! I used to watch that tv show about the cheerleaders. :rotfl: I loved it!! I like the Saints enough...not really a "fan" but I don't have an issue with them like I do some teams! I can't stand the Skins either though! I'm furious that we lost to them!! I would've been more okay with losing to the Cowboys than to them. How in the heck does someone beat the Cowboys and not the Redskins?! I don't know what happened to us!! :sad2:

I am thinking I'm going to make a pumpkin and a pecan pie!! I found this recipe for a delicious looking pumpkin turtle pie, but then I lost it!! Oh well. I totally forgot about the parade!! I'm going to have to watch that too!!

Totally understand!! I'm so excited for your trip!! Are you going to make a tr? You'll have to let me know!! I totally want to follow along!! You are SO close!!

i hope things work out for you job, and like others have said, mabey a better opportunity willcome up with some that you would love to do more, and would be better for you and landon.

Man...what is with our qb's? :sad2: SO disappointing!! Apparently with the Broncos qb's, an injury (even if it was how many years ago? *cough*simms*cough) REALLY screws with your football abilities. Its really painful after seeing how well we played at first. The Broncos are now the team everyone thought they would be after showing that they did have it in them. It makes it that much worse.

Aw, I hope Landon enjoys Thanksgiving! :)

You are thankful for such nice things.

Thanks!! Are you spending Thanksgiving with your little guy?

Thanks!! Are you spending Thanksgiving with your little guy?

Of course! We made a turkey by tracing his hand the other day, then he colored it. He enjoyed that.

I'll have to share pics from his b-day party when I'm home this weekend! :)

Your thanksgiving post is SOOOOOOOOOO sweet Kimmy!
Landon I'm sure is very greatful for such a wonderful mommy.

And we're greatful to have ya here!!! :goodvibes

Happy thanksgiving my American friend!! now go stuff your face!! haha

I've been praying for you and Landon!

And I loved your Thanksgiving post! You do have so much to be thankful for! Landon is the cutest little guy ever. And I'm so glad that things are so great in your life right now (besides the job situation). God is good.

I'm thankful for SO much!

First of all, I'm thankful for Michael. I couldn't have asked for things to be better this past year. I've absolutely loved being married to him, and I thank God so many times every day for letting me be married to my best friend! :goodvibes I'm thankful for my family, and for how close we are. With all of the junk that's been going on this year, it's so good to know that my family really does love each other. I don't know what I'd do without my family or Michael's family. I'm thankful that I have a job, and that we're here working with the youth. Even though things are tough at times, I know it's the best place for us right now. I'm thankful for all of my friends (including you!) that truly care. I'm thankful for Disney and memories and vacations too! And TONS of food on Thanksgiving Day! :thumbsup2 Oh--and above everything, I'm thankful for God and for his love and grace. Without that, everything else wouldn't be what it is. :goodvibes

I hope you and Landon and your parents have a FANTASTIC Thanksgiving! Big hugs!

My step-mom's grandkids are there so I doubt they will ever leave MI. Altho my dad keeps talking about Arizone:confused3 His trouble is that he is over 60...soon as people realize that then they dont even look at his resume. He is just a few years away from collect social security to retire...why hire someone who is going to leave in a couple years? Its understandable.

I hope you have much better luck. You seem like such a sweet person. I'm sure anyone that meets you instantly loves you. You just have such a positive personality

Thanks! It is stressful, but thats life! There's always something!

Anyway...

"Hey Taylor!! You have a REALLY nice bod!!"

Okay, so what'd you like and not like and all that? I really loved it. Taylor is SUCH a good actor. He totally pulled me all the way to his team. I love him!! I love them all! I love all the hilarious one liners the movie had too!! It was so great!

:faint::faint::faint::faint: No, that picture is absolutely not fair! I'm going to be coming back to your thread to look at these pictures periodically throughout the day. :rotfl:

Anyone who hasn't seen New Moon but wants to DON'T READ!

I liked how they brought the book to life. I think they did a really good job portraying the relationship between Bella and Jacob. I didn't like the part after she goes to the movies with Jessica (she CRACKED me up, the girl that plays her is great!) and gets on the motorcycle with some random dude. That seemed very un-Bella. And the guy just dropped her off, just like that? I don't think so.

I thought Taylor Lautner did a good job with Jacob but at some parts, like when he got angry, I just didn't buy it. It seemed a little forced.

The guy that played Aro totally creeped me out. I thought he did a really good job. The fight scene was a little much but hey, it's the Twilight series.

I also liked that they worked in Harry's heart attack as having to do with Victoria rather than it just being some random thing that happens.

Hey Kimmy!
Somehow I missed that you're place of work is closing early December! I'm so sorry girl, I'm praying for you and Landon, this may be a blessing in disguise....hugs!!!!

Thinking of you!! Happy Thanksgiving (early) we leave tonight to PA.

I love the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader show! The one where they follow them through tryouts, etc right? One of my best friends just bought all 3 of their workout dvd's and she said they kicked butt! Now I want to go out and buy them!

Mmmm, pecan pie is my favorite! Pumpkin pie is delicious, too but I could eat a whole pecan pie by myself. YUMMMM!!!

I'll probably end up making a trip report.. I'll need a place for all those pictures I'll be taking. It'll be fun to re-live it all, too!

Thanks Staci! You're so sweet!!

I loved reading all the things you are grateful for!! You really word things so well!! I hope you have a SPECTACULAR Thanksgiving!!

Aw man, thats hard!! I wish they wouldn't be biased because of that. I've known A LOT of younger GM's who leave way less than a couple years. My store used to go through them like crazy. Now we just have one who is never even here (he's at the bigger store that's staying open :sad2:). I'll keep your dad in my thoughts though!!

Thank you so much!! I sent my resume to a few places last night!! You're so sweet though!! I appreciate your kindness!

I know...I keep going back and looking at them. I'm glad you quoted the whole thing with all the pictures...it was a delicious surprise!!

SO...if you go read Lynn's thread, all your comments are pretty much my exact same ones!! :rotfl: Especially the whole Bella getting on the motorcycle with the guy at the bar thing...um no!!

Jessica really is great. I love her comments in both movies.

Taylor did seem to force his anger sometimes...it wasn't too bad though. One of my favorite lines is from angry Jacob, when he was fighting with Alice..."Things could get VERY ugly!" :rotfl: It cracked me up how he said it!

I enjoyed the fight scene, and thought it added a good aspect to it, to show how hardcore the Volturi is. It kind of dragged out though. But the vision that Alice showed Aro was LAME!!! Like...seriously?

Aw, thank you!! I'll definitely keep you guys updated!! Have a fun and safe Thanksgiving!!

Oh and would you just look at the expression on her face?? Damn you, Kristen Stewart! :rotfl2:

I can think of some "colorful" words to describe her. :rotfl: Does she have to look so smug there?

That's the show!! Isn't it great?! I loved it. I used to watch it when I was pregnant and my friends would make fun of me because of how much it made me cry! I'd cry when someone got cut or when they made it...it just made me so emotional! :rotfl: I'll have to look into their workout dvd's!!

You should definitely do a trip report!! I'd love to see it!!

I guess that's why we get along, Kimmy! :rotfl: Great minds think alike.

That was the exact line that I was thinking of when I typed that it seemed forced. That had me laughing too. If I were Alice, I would have been like 'Ha! Are you serious kid?' No love lost though. ;)

Oh yeah, that was totally lame. Vampires run through forests in slow motion together in pretty clothes? Ok.

She's totally giving a 'You know you wish you were me right now' look in that picture!

We really do think alike, especially if that Jacob line is the same one you were thinking of!! I love Alice, she is great. I love all the trash talking they do to each other. "Yeah, I'll be back as soon as you let the dog out." :rotfl:

Yeah, don't you know that vampires are even cheesier than Disney movies when they are in love?

Ok, so Jenny...you should ignore the next post! Its all about the Broncos lovin!! Haha, jk! But there will be some! Not going to lie, I'm scared for Thanksgiving but I'm SUPER excited!! It's going to be GREAT!!

YAY!! So I have a ton of pictures to share! Some of just Landon, some from when I went to the Broncos game on Sunday.

Here is Landon observing his new toothbrush right before we brushed his teeth for the first time!!
P1030981.jpg

He did great!

I never recycle my 3D glasses from movies such as a Christmas Carol and Toy Story, because I know Landon likes to play with them. Usually he just carries them around. But this past weekend, he found them and was trying to put them on and then handed them to me. I put them on him and he ran to show them off to my parents.
P1030992.jpg

It was hard to capture a picture of him wearing them!
P1030996.jpg

Then, he did the same thing with a Santa hat!!
P1030997.jpg

Of course, he had to stop and watch football.
P1030999.jpg

Now GAME DAY pictures!!
I had nosebleed seats, unfortunately, but they had a great view and were right on the 50 yard line.
P1040020.jpg

This is for Lynn:
P1040060.jpg

YAY!! Love him!

And the "must-take" picture of our stadium!
P1040032.jpg

Then finally, me and Landon all decked out in our Broncos gear!!
P1040015.jpg

Kimmy!!!! You took great pics. Looks like you had awesome seats. That stadium is gorgeous! My parents visted my Uncle who lived in Colorado and he took them to the stadium. The pictures they took were so nice.

Love the pic of you and Landon.

Too bad our boys didn't win! UGH!

Cute pics, love the Bronco's gear (:

Hmmm...
I'm thankful for everything I have :goodvibes
Oh, and let's not forget about the Yankees winning the World Series!

I totally understand how it feels with the whole 4-game loosing streak. Totally stinks.
