What a great afternoon!!! I LOVE that picture of you and Landon right before you leave. So cute :goodvibes And woo-hoo for all of the luckiness!!!! :woohoo: Those pics of Handy Manny and Landon are really adorable. Too bad Buzz and Woody couldn't take a pic like that with him. I love, love, love Hollywood Studios!! I'm so glad you had a great day there. And YAY for your mom discovering pin trading! :thumbsup2

I agree, SOA is always hot! :headache:

I LOVE ToT too! It always makes us laugh. Have you ever done it at night? It's even scarier because you can't see when the doors are going to open!

How did you like TSM? I loved it. It's up there in the list of my favorite rides.

I think MK has got to be my favorite park. I love all 3 mountains and HM...If I could wrap my arms around that building I would. Funny thing is, when I was a kid, I got tricked into going on it and kept my eyes closed through the whole thing! :rotfl:

I just got all caught up on your TR! :) I've been reading for a couple of days but finally had the time to comment! Landon is PRECIOUS! He looks like a GOOD baby! wow!!! i hope i can one day have one like that!! :lovestruc Love love love all your pictures with the photopass... and all your jumping ones! How cute!!! you're soo pretty!! i never thought about doing that! i've been to disney over 150 times and never really take advantage of the photopass people! not next time!! haha!

OH! And I have to agree with your passion for the ToT!!!! ITS MY FAVORITE FAVORITE FAVORITE ride!!!!! best EVERRR! I just loved how you talked about it... my Mom and I went on it 9 times during a parade once! LOL!!! She won't go on ANY rollar coasters but she'll ride that and we laugh hysterically on it the whole time!! i'm so glad there's someone else who likes it as much as I do! LOL I crave it all the time!!

Looking forward to hearing more :)

Hey! Glad you are all caught up! :goodvibes Landon is such a good baby!! I'm sure you will have good babies too...they'll be good since they're so grateful they have a mom who loves Disney!

Definitely take advantage of Photo Pass! I'm obsessed with it! I want to do even better with it next year though! Its so awesome! It's one of my favorite parts of the park! LOL! As you probably know, I have the jumping goal. I think another one of my goals will be to get EVERY magic shot!

I'm proud to meet another TOT lover! I want to ride 9 times in a row!! That sounds like paradise!! I'm glad you understand the "craving"! I have that too!

It was so great! Definitely one of my top favorite days! We got so lucky, too and it all happened one thing after the next! It was awesome!! I guess I should've just brought his shoes. His summery shoes (like sandals) he knows how to take off and they never last very long and I didn't want to put socks and sneakers on him and have his feet get all hot and sweaty. He wasn't a good enough walker than for that to be worth it! Oh well...

Are you a pin trader? My mom and I copied Lynn's husband and just went for a certain character/theme. She did Mickey and I did princesses!

I agree, SOA is always hot! :headache:

Okay, good I'm glad I'm not crazy for thinking SOA was extra hot!

I wish I could've done ToT at night!! We never stayed in a park that late though. (With one exception ;) hehe!) I'll have to next time! It sounds awesome!

Oh I LOVED TSM. It was so great!! I can see why its so popular!! I wish we could've done it more, but am so grateful we got to do it at all! I really didn't think we would!!

Sadly, I only got to do 2 mountains in MK. Dang Space being closed! Splash is my 2nd fav ride of them all though, after TOT! And I also LOVE HM! That has got to be one of the coolest rides ever! I actually had a dream about it...it was just longer and parts you walked through and stuff and it was weird!

I'm so glad you got to do the Animation Academy! I am going to do that next time---(i hope!)

I love Handy Manny! Luke was just getting too big for Playhouse Disney when he came on, but we watched it for a bit. Landon looks sleepy in those pics! I just love those polo onesies!

How awesome that you guys got fastpasses for TSM! I really like that one, too! It would have been so sad if you had not gotten to ride it.

Andy's Room! That must not have been open when we were there. It looks like so much fun~Now I have something else on my list for next time!

That is such a great picture of you & Landon in front of TOT. I love his smile!

I am glad your mom got into pin trading! Yay for her finding something she enjoys!

I bet they would have like the Great Movie Ride...

Oh yeah, definitely do the Animation Academy!! It was awesome. I am going to try to do it every time! It takes about 20 minutes.

I love Manny too! Landon was super sleepy in those pics...he was still waking up!! I'm obsessed with the polo onesies! So cute! He has a ton! But now he's wearing more shirts!

TSM was awesome...we really got lucky!! Especially since when I had passed it at like noon, the return time was 7! And Andy's room is directly across from it!! Its really cute!

Mom LOVED pin trading. It was cute. I think next time I may force them to do a few more things! For some reason, they were skeptical about some things and loved most of them! (like TSM!)

How awesome is that? You got fast passes for TSM! I am sure it made your day. I LOVE THAT RIDE! It was just sooo cool. It was one of Mitchell's favorites, too. Landon looked so cute on the ride. You and your mom look great in those glasses, too! I could tell how excited you were - I would have been too.

How cool is that? You got to meet Buzz AND Woody! You have no idea how jealous I am. Those were the two MAIN characters I wanted to see on our trip (besides Mickey, of course) but I never saw them. I like the crouched picture, myself. I think it's very cute! :thumbsup2

Love the photopass pictures of Landon smiling. Oh, he has the sweetest little grin!

Can't wait to hear about what happened in the parking lot! This is gettin' good! :yay:

Fast passes for TSM was so magical!! I was so excited!! I knew something great was coming when he was talking to us!! So fun! Aw I bet Mitchell loves it! I bet one of the reasons its SO popular is it really is "Fun for the Whole Family!" You don't have to be tall enough or anything, plus its interactive! Truly genius!

Buzz and Woody were great!! So glad we got to meet them! I missed a few characters I really wanted to meet (like Monsters and Cars) but these were some definite must-do's! Landon has Buzz and Woody plushes (and Manny and Mickey and Tigger. He's not spoiled or anything...:rolleyes1). I'm so glad we got to meet them. Have you taken Mitchell to see the re-release of Toy Story I & II in 3-D? I saw it...so good!

Landon's little grin is cute...its cuter every day. His 4th tooth just broke in while we were in WDW, but now it's really showing! And when he smiles really big and has these little dimples...man it just melts my heart!

The parking lot fiasco was a blessing in disguise!!

We have not seen Toy Story I and II in 3-D yet. I've seen both of those movies so many times, I know them by heart and I really do want to take him. Question: Is it really so much better in 3-D? I mean, is it a can't miss for Mitchell?

Awww, how sweet - he's got four teeth! I miss those toothy, gummy baby grins. And dimples! Yep - you're a goner! :cutie:

Apparently with the enhancements they've made to the movies, it's supposed to feel like you're actually in Andy's room. I'm going to see it this weekend so I'll give you some feedback!

I really think those movies were meant to be seen in 3-D! It was just so amazing and looked so good! It enhanced the whole movies and I've seen the first one a ton of times but not the second, both were even better than I remembered being in 3-D!

He's such a big boy with his 4 teeth! I remember when he was all gums...its all just so cute!

I could see that!! It was so great! Let me know what you think, I loved it!

Cool! That would be great. I wonder how long it's in theaters for? I had heard only two weeks.

Ok so I left off as we were leaving Hollywood Studios. We take the tram to our parking lot and quickly find our car. My dad turns the car on and I put Landon in his car seat. Then my dad goes to fold up the stroller but it won’t budge! It’s completely stuck. I try, my mom tries, and everyone tries again. Now, don’t forget we’re in Florida. If we weren’t hot and at least physically miserable before, we are now! Here we are just all wrestling with this dang stroller and it won’t even budge.

Now here’s some background…I HATE this stroller. I don’t know if you guys saw pictures in the pictures but it’s gross. My mom got it for like $5 at a garage sale so I wouldn’t have to take my nice one to Disney World. I didn’t want to use it; it was all stained and just blah. But I figured I could use it for the week. And now we had one more day in WDW and then a day at the airport and it was just not working. So I said, let’s abandon it. And so we did. I figured we could rent a stroller the next day and I would just unfortunately carry him all day in the airport.

And off we go.

We quickly head over to Pop to freshen up. I think this was the day where on our way back, on one of the back roads to the other buildings in Pop we saw a black snake crossing the road!! It was so gross and scary!! Pretty big, too! Luckily, it was going away from the hotel and into some bushes so that was okay.

After quickly freshening up, we headed over to the Boardwalk. We were either going to go to Big River or ESPN Club; and seeing how it was the season opening for the NFL, my dad opted for ESPN Club. Well, we parked at the Boardwalk and the self parking is pretty far…at least when you are carrying a 25 lb baby who is asleep. They gain 10 lbs when they are asleep, I swear! We stopped and rested in the lobby.

Once my arms were rested, we treaded down the Boardwalk to ESPN Club. At this time, the bar was open but not the regular tables! So my dad stood in line for a real table so I could sit with my heavy, sleeping child. We get called and get a nice seat.

(Sorry for the lack of pictures…I’m usually the one who gets out the camera and couldn’t do that while carrying Landon!)

Here’s the thing about ESPN Club…it’s all atmosphere. I don’t think anyone would ever recommend it for the food. However, if you are into sports and your team is playing, I HIGHLY suggest going. It’s just so fun!!

For anyone who hasn’t been…they have tv’s in the bathroom! Both above the stalls and the sink! I didn’t even have to use the restroom at this time, but I took pictures like a good Dis’er!
From the stall:

Hopefully that makes up for the fact that I didn’t get pictures of my food! I’m so sorry! But I got the hot red wings—delicious—and should’ve just made that meal! I didn’t want another burger so I got the ribs. Gross. Ew. Bad choice, Kimmy! For dessert, I got the Rocky Road cake, which was delicious but really heavy and I was already so full I couldn’t eat much! Get that if you go here though! Allears describes it as “Cake layered with Chocolate Mousse, Walnuts, Marshmallows, and Fudge Sauce”. So yummy!

Anywho, the sitting area at ESPN Club is set up like this:
P1030368.jpg

Can you see the guy sitting there? They have like a live broadcast that I think airs somewhere locally in Florida. I’m not sure where, unfortunately! And it’s a completely interactive thing where they go and talk to all the fans there and to try to keep people from being shy, they give you a ticket for a gift if you do talk to them!

The Patriots and the Bills were playing when we were there and the place was PACKED with Patriots fans. I would say that probably less than 10% of the people there were Bills fans. There was this one group of kids there with their parents who were probably around 10 or so and they kept going up and talking to them and it was so funny. The announcer guys even laughed because one of the Patriots fan’s kid was named Brady! Lol!

This was just a warm-up thing however…after that they had this camera crew that was really filming! And they told us to go crazy so that everyone watching would think there were a ton more people then there actually was! We all did! It was good fun, even though my family is not a fan of either team!

The guys went around and would talk to people about whatever they wanted as long as it had to do with football. It could be what they liked or thought about any of the games that weekend or what they’d change about the NFL or college football. And guess who talked to them?! If you said me, you’re a winner!!

I don’t remember what I said but I assure you it had to do with my Denver Broncos!! And I remember the guy saying that first game we won was pure luck and had nothing to do with McDaniel’s or how good we were. I’d love to go back now and tell him 4 and 0 is not luck!! Haha!! (Oh and we play the Patriots on Sunday…I’d LOVE to be at the ESPN Club for this!)

Since my parents are not smart about capturing moments photographically, I had to take a picture of some other guy to show you how awesome it was when I did it.

Here’s the camera crew:
P1030372.jpg

Here’s what it looked like with the camera on you:
P1030373.jpg

(the guy in red was being interviewed at the table kinda below/in front of us)

And you are on every tv, and I took a picture of that guy on one of them!
P1030374.jpg

It was so awesome! I’m so upset that my parents didn’t get pictures! They didn’t even think of it! Oh well. Here’s me with my ticket!
P1030371.jpg

P1030369.jpg

Those guys were just there for before the game and they left. My dad caught one of them on his way out and talked to him, so the guy gave him a ticket even though he didn’t get to be on tv!

So here are our gifts:
P1030377.jpg

They tried to make these sound all awesome saying that you couldn’t buy or get this anywhere else in the world. Lol. Sweet.

We left when we were done eating since we weren’t huge fans of either team. We stopped and watched a magician for a little and went in the shops. My favorite was the Wyland gallery. He paints this murals and stuff of whales and sea life and it’s beautiful. He had some with Ariel and stuff and I loved it! I have been a fan of him since I was in 5th grade! Definitely better when he puts a little Disney in it!

We got back and I took a picture of all the towel animals we had in our window. They put a new one in every couple of days in every room and didn’t take the other ones.
P1030375.jpg

They also made us a toothbrush holder!
P1030384.jpg

And that concludes our Hollywood Studios day! Stay tuned…our last day is next and Landon gets like 6 girlfriends (yeah, no joke, he was a total ladies man our last day!) and we go to this SPOOKY party!!

Loved your update! I couldn't help but laugh at you leaving the stroller behind, LOL! I kept expecting it to pop again somewhere like a bad omen or something. I guess now we know why it was only five dollars at a yard sale.

When we went in March, I had borrowed an umbrella stroller from my MIL to take so we wouldn't have to lug around a great big one. Yeah, the entire time we were there, we had trouble steering that thing and I kept saying she hexed it! (she doesn't like me so well,). We got a few good laughs out of it anyway, and my poor baby nearly went flying out of it a few times, but it was all good! :thumbsup2

Glad you had such a great time at ESPN. Thanks for the bathroom pics. Wonder if anyone else wondered what in the world you could possibly be taking pictures of "in the stall". :rotfl: Hmmm....:scratchin

Your towel animals are precious, too. We didn't get those at Wilderness or Saratoga. I guess it's because they only come like once while you're there to give you fresh towels. That's it.

Can't wait to hear about the party! :woohoo:

Cool! That would be great. I wonder how long it's in theaters for? I had heard only two weeks.

It was released last Friday so I guess it has one more week to go!

Kimmy, great update! I've been to the ESPN Club a few times and I looove the wings there. One time our server forgot we ordered them and didn't bring them out. That was our whole reason for going there! The rest of their food is like every other chain restaurant.

Gotta love the towel animals!

nice day in the parks, we have always loved the food at espn, we alwasy get the chili, the nachos, and burgers , get the reuben sandwich which is awesome there.

did u walk around and look at all the signed jerseys in there.

how many pins did your mom and you end up getting?

we have about 100 between the 3 of us, and i bought about 50 more on ebay to trade for our next trip.

Isn't it funny how we end up with lesser strollers so we won't have to deal with a "big" one but the others one end up being more trouble?!

I wonder what the people were thinking as I took a picture in the stall!! I vaguely thought of that after...I waited until she left to get one of the sink though so she wouldn't think I was the weirdo taking mysterious pictures in stalls and then some of her. :rotfl:

That's too bad you didn't get more towel animals! I loved them! There were always like 3 in every window! I think we may have just gotten lucky though! :confused3

The party was the best! And breakfast that day too! :goodvibes

Yeah I LOVE wings. I could eat them all the time. Definitely the best part there. I should've ate more of those and made it my meal! Silly me! Always next time!

All the food you got sounds great! I don't know what I was thinking getting ribs! :sad2: I will definitely go back there though! I didn't get a close look at all the jerseys but we had a good view of a lot of them!

Hmmm I would say that my mom and I have about 100! I got us traders off ebay too! :thumbsup2 I'll have to take some pictures and show you! Do you trade for whole collections or just ones you like or what?

i have a few collections like the disney bears, i got for DW when parker was born.

but mostly we just collect ones we like, we try and get a few of each character and branch out some, but i am pretty partial to donald, so a good chunk of mine are donald, but now i have been trading for the other characters.

i am also looking for a mrs incredible for candi, she has the rest of the family but we cant find that one.

ohh also, my mom seemed interested in it last time we came home, so since they are taking us on the trip next summer, we got my mom some also that we are going to give her for mothers day so she can trade along with us.
