Sometimes Living in Florida is Just So Weird!

I have to mow the lawn today. It's MARCH! And I can't get any sympathy. My brother in MA said he can't even see his lawn.

And I think this is Spring here. The tree we have out front (I have no idea what it is) dropped leaves for 3 or 4 weeks. After the rain on Sunday, it exploded with leaves! I guess we have instant Spring here... just add water and BANG!

I mowed yesterday too. My flowers in the front yard are in full bloom already and look great. I was born in NYC and I don't miss the snow at all.

This post just reminded me that I have to find a lawn service for the new house, LOL! I didn't think about it because it's March...however, March in FL is much different from March in MA

You could always move into one of those gated communities where lawn care is included.. That's one of the things I think is so neat about much of the housing down there.. LOL

You could move to MO and have daffodils in full bloom peeking through several inches of snow, which has happened more than a couple times in the last few years!

We live in a gated community down here in Florida and we have to mow our own grass. They only take care of the public areas!

I wouldn't trade what we have here for anything in the world.
