UGH!
Yesterday I had a brilliant idea.
My living room and dinning room are open to eachother- I have the solid core doors that hang between them- sorta like French Doors...but they are not installed.
With school coming, I realized that I am going to need a place to hide when I'm doing homework- so I can get it done at once, instead of starting and stopping etc.
Sooooooo
I decided- to move DD10 into my bedroom, which is off the kitchen. Her bedroom, was off the living room. Our bedrooms are the same size- 12x12, only mine had a large walk in closet (even has a WINDOW!)...
I put the computer, and chin cages along with my 'closet' into her bedroom. My dressers, and such are now in her old bedroom.
Then I moved my bedroom into the living room. Yup- the 20x20 room is now MINE!... I still have to hang the doors back up, but it looks incredible. Having that much room is unreal to me.
The dinning room- also 20x20 is now the living/dinning room. I have a 'round' room off the dinning room which is now the living room area. With the couch and TV...then the square part of the room, is housing the dinning room table. The table didnt move as it was there before, and my computer desk was in the round room portion before.
DBF came home from work yesterday and sorta looked dumbstruck. LOL...he's all for the idea, just not sure without the doors
He's bringing his dad over later to hang the doors for me, and then it's done.
WHOOHOOO!!
at 11pm last night I wondered why I do stupid stuff like this. Took ALL DAY to do, and I'm still not done putting stuff away!
