Three weeks ago I bought some stuff from Victoria's Secret (on line), I paid with the credit card of V.S.

Today I received my statements from New York & Company card and appears the amount of V.S. !!!!! ( I already know that the accounts are under the same bank).

I call to V.S. and the customer r. said: That doesn't matter because is the same bank, the banks decides where to put it :cool2: . I said that I understand that are under the same bank, but that is not a reasonable answer, I told her if I go to New York and Company Store and want to pay with the V.S. card of course they wouldn't accepted it, and then she said: OK do you want to put the amount on your V.S. Card? I said: yes. After 3 minutes in hold she said that the change was made.

Do you think that I must talk with a customer manager or do something else?

I don't quite understand what the problem is?

That I paid with V.S. card and the charge appears in the New York and Company card, Both under the same bank, but I feel that they didn't take care about the error.

Do you normally get a separate VS statement...maybe now they are trying to consolidate all onto one statement now? Just double check to make sure you are not billed twice.

I'm confused too. If you were charged the correct amount, and the two cards are through the same bank, why does it matter which card? Do you get points with VS on their card? Or was it just the point of the matter that they seemed to have sloppy methods?

Just trying to understand your reason for wanting to get it changed. That would probably determine for me if it was worth it or not to try to get a supervisor on the phone.

I would be concerned about this also...shouldn't matter if it is the same bank, they are individual companies. I guess when I am purchasing an item at one store, I don't expect my personal financial information to get mixed up with a different store. Are the two of them owned by the same company? This is VERY sloppy accounting, and would make me very concerned about how they handle personal information!

Thanks! That is my concerned, I feel that at least the customer representative didn't take what serious can be the problem, we are talking about two differents credit cards, is supposed that I enter (in the internet) a credit card number that belongs to that store, and then they charge it in other. For a long time a carry Visa Chase and the Disney Chase, and in any moment they mix the charges or they decided where put the charges.

Victoria Secret, Limited, Express, NY&Co., Lane Brayant, Abercrombie, and White Barn Candles used to owned by the same company. I think it seperated in 2002 though. Did they not give you any explaination when you called?

That is horrible!! How are you to keep your accounting correctly? And what about rewards?? Are they moving the sales to a card without rewards??

This SUCKS in a big way, I would overdraw one of the cards because I wasn't aware where the money was put.

No! this doesn't work at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would cancel the V.S. card!

The customer representative take it very easy, she said: Umm are the same bank, after I complaint that if a go to NY&CO and wants to paid with VS card they wouldn't accept, and then she said, what do you want to do? :cool2:
