So we are not a family that does Disney every year. (I feel alone on this site, seems so many vacation all the time.) Because we own a business, time off is tough.
so we always go all out when we vacation
The last big trip, to Disney, was 4 years ago....we stayed 8 days at Poly Club Level with a theme park view.....went to many great meals, etc.....want to know that the kids talk about? How "Disney" gave them gifts when we checked in! LOL, so many people suggested sending down cute things to leave in the room, I sent down bags od trinkets and t-shirts for our arrival. The kids still think Disney did it. They tell other kids that when you stay at Disney they give you things in your room all the time. (we had chocolate strawberries delivered, etc.)
Well we are going again next year.....staying at BWI club and want to do this again? Any ideas? Should I just do my typical welcome bag for each kid? I don't want them to think Disney forgot us....oldest can understand but the other two are still believers!

The economy is bad...even at Disney, kids. They no longer send gifts to families staying there! But lets head to the Dollar Store and find some fun things we can use to decorate the room! (I have found window clings, little rubber characters, etc that are fun and add to the ambiance.)

I am thinking about the same thing. I did gifts the last two times we went in '07 and'10. This time kids are older and it is not a surprise but I wonder if they will miss that extra magic.
Will probably do small items not sure yet.
