There was a part in the ride where the Carnataurus (did I butcher that name?) starts to chase you on your left side.

Now he doesn't exactly chase you, his head just pops out.

Did anyone notice this?

edit: made the post shorter.

Sorry, I made my post shorter after I read it again and agreed I sounded uber-confusing. :lmao:

OK, I'll keep this uber simple. :thumbsup2

The running Carnotaur AA is out for rehab. A Carnotaur head has taken his place. :)

been on this ride 5 times or more..i have no idea what you guys are talking about..I have seen the head come from above straight at you or from the right...never been chased though..what is that?

The 2nd to last Carnotaur actually runs after your vehicle for a good dozen or so feet near the end. I always know it's about to happen by the audio, there is a big crack and them he starts chasing you.

When he's out for rehab, there is just a big head off to the side, similar to the one at the end. It's funny, because the first time I saw it I got really creeped out because I wasn't expecting a head to be where it was.

As someone posted earlier, yes, the chasing Carnotour is out for rehab, we have no time frame. I think many people are so busy looking straight ahead they miss it - it's off to the left, slightly behind the ride vehicle.

I can't wait to see the "POPPING" head!! I am uber excited about it ... sorry I just had to figure out a way to use "uber" in a sentence! :teeth: Fun thread ... hope I DO remember to look for this. I have to admit only riding most things one time, I missed so much. I can't WAIT to go back!

NOOOOOOOOO!

My DD was worried about riding this one, but she LOVES dinosaurs, and i asked her if she would feel better if she knew how it worked. she was absolutely facinated with my descriptions (very, very childsized descriptions) of how the large dino animatronics worked. She's going to be really bummed if the "carnotaur with the big pole up it's butt" doesn't chase her!

i remember that. when i first rode that and saw it i had to keep telling myself it wasn't real.
i think they got rid of it because it was hard on the electronics.
i miss it. but it still scared me.

I absolutely noticed it on our last trip in July.
