I had tears running down my face after watching Sarah Hughes skate. I have been watching figure skating for years and have never been so moved. I am so happy she won the Gold because she certainly deserved it.

What a beautiful job she did.. it was breathtaking.. I thought I was still awake and I missed the other two performances.. I am happy that my eyes were still open for her though.....it was definintely one to remember........absolutely perfect...

Wasn't that great!! I was so happy for her.. Now lets see what happens since the Russians are mad about it.

I thought Sarah's performance was outstanding. It was amazing that she just went out there to "have fun" since she felt that she was out of the race for any metal, let alone the gold. After seeing her skate, I cannot imagine what the others that followed her had to be thinking. I have never seen anything so perfect as Sarah Hughes performance last night.

Wasn't she absolutely wonderful? I got goose-bumps. DirecTV is re-broadcasting the long-program tonight in high definition, so you know where I'll be.....

She was so awesome - I thought to myself right after she skated that no one could beat that - little did I know that I was right! She was beautiful to watch and made me remember why I used to like watching the Ice Skating Events - graceful and innocence - no one deserves that gold medal more than Sarah. I, too, found myself quite emotional after her performance.

I thought she was so cute!! It was nice to see someone so open with her emotions and just having a good time. I loved her little comment after everyone skated and she was waiting for the final results. When she said "no pressure here" and started laughing I thought that this is what competition should be all about, just going out and having a lot of fun. It was also great seeing the reactions from her parents and her coach...they were so stunned!!!

I was crying too, Patrick! You're right, she was perfect! It was a beautiful performance! :bounce: :)
I also cried when the others fell. I'm such a wuss! I felt so sorry for them. :(
I want everybody to win! :p

I thought Sarah was absolutely awesome, too! I am so glad she won. I have been glued to my TV for the past 17 days watching Olympics. Guess I'll be around more now that they're over.
