I am staying for two night at The Polynesian and am traveling solo.Yep am going all by myself. I plan to spend time at The MK which is my fav park. I live in Fl and am an AP so I can visit the parks whenever I want, so getting alot of park time in is not that important. Tell me something different I can do at the resort, especially traveling solo. I am going to try to get into 'Ohana for dinner(tried to make ADR but nothing available). Have a reservation at Kona Cafe for dinner the night I arrive. Am thinking about maybe renting a water mouse boat, which i have never done before and explore the Seven Seas Lagoon. How about maybe using the spa at The GF? Throw out any ideas, of course I am not rich but I plan on splurging just this once. The Resort cost alone is costing me a fortune lol

I used to go to WDW by myself all the time! I was single and a part-time CM (full-time teacher), so I could stay anywhere I wanted (at least where they had rooms available!) I loved to just wander around the different resorts, try different restaurants, rent a watermouse and explore around Seven Seas, etc. I never did the spa stuff -- never had time! One of my fav things to do was to go to the Boardwalk in the evening and watch the street performers, people watch, eat an ice cream and walk around, etc. It is so relaxing! Just seeing the different resorts, trying new places to eat, etc was exciting for me.

I do the Poly 'sort of' solo as I travel with my daughter. When I drop her off at the Neverland Club it is 'go time' for me to have fun. :thumbsup2 Check out the torch lighting ceremony in the evenings. Also take time to hang out at Tambu Lounge for music and some very yummy drinks. It's interesting chatting with the CMs there. I also love taking my drink over to a hammock on the beach next to the Tuvalu building for a great view of the fireworks at the MK.

You'll have a great time! :thumbsup2

definitely get a water mouse. Make sure to go all the way over into Bay Lake though, don't just stay in the 7 Seas Lagoon. It's really cool to just wander around and look at all the resorts from your boat, check out the wildlife, etc.

I don't go solo, but take solo walks around the resort often enough. Be sure to take the walkway to the GF, it's really nice and takes you right to the spa/health club.

take the walkway to the gf, and if there is a wedding going on at the wedding pavillion, try to crash it, and eat and drink for free.
