This is my first time to this board... but thought I'd ask for some advice :)

I want to make something fun and easy, and possibly even to sell (on ebay) for a little extra cash..
I was going to head up to Michaels and see what I can find. I'm pretty creative, but don't know abut SKILLED... lol.. so, something semi simple?? :teacher:

Any ideas?
Thanks

Have you taken a look around ebay to see if anything catches your eye? I would also suggest just wandering around the craft store to see if anything sticks out at you. If you're thinking ebay, I would suggest something small and light (think shipping it). Do you have anything that you like-scrapbooking, card making, painting? You can always go and look for something on clearance and hope to "resell" it.

I did look on ebay...and thought about drawer pulls...decorating those with stencils or such... (since I almost bought some) They were selling for $15.. but I figured I could make them for $5 and sell them a bit less than the $15.. but I didn't find any at Michaels. I did walk around there... and I may go back after my nexxt paycheck and look again :)

Try a home improvement store (Home Depot, Lowes, locally owned one) for things like that. You might also be able to find cool things at garage sales to use too! If you like drawer pulls, think about what else could go with something like that-maybe lightswitch covers, lamp shades or toppers or anything like that too.

HTH!
