DH and I have been having some problems :guilty: , but things seem to be getting better slowly but surely... :goodvibes: :cheer2:

~ANYWAY~
I want to do something special for him at Disney. He doesn't want to leave the kids with anyone so we can go have a nice dinner (b/c he's on a 'family' vacation, not a Leah & DH vacation...)...

You guys are so creative, can you think of something special I can do for him?

We leave on FRIDAY!! :earseek:  :dancer:

Disneyflorist.com has different kinds of gift baskets they can deliver to your resort.

If he loves sports and you do not - go to ESPN Zone for a dinner - he can catch up on sports and you can enjoy good food :)

If youw ant to schedule something big - maybe one of the Segway Tours - but they are $$ and not sure if you can schedule them.

Maybe have something deleivered to the room for DH and the kids - there are places that will make gift basskets and deleiver them before you arrive - you could always include a personal note from you to him.

my dh and I are drinkers - so maybe schedule a dinner where he can try new beers (if he drinks) - something that is his style :)

i love the personal touchers- when you pack his luggage slip a note to him from you where he will find it - maybe in with hsi toothbrush etc.

Good luck and have a blast! Disney is full of magic for all of us :)

How old are your kids? How many do you have?

Is he willing to do anything on his own at all,or only with the whole family?

2 things you could do with the whole family:
Breathless Burst from the Yacht & Beach Club Marina - Breathless is a Mahogany 30's style speed boat which is quite impressive. DH loves this & the 3 of us do it together.
WaterMouse Regatta - we prefer renting from one of the MK resort marinas. You could rent 2 Mice to accomodate your family & then tool around Seven Seas Lagoon/Bay Lake.

There's lots of stuff DH loves, but some of it is solo or just the 2 of us, or like the Tours, with older kids (our DS is 16)

I saw something interesting that I am planning to do with mine (he a mechanical type person) and a big kid. Depending on what his interest lie, you can go on the monorail and ask to sit in the front car. I was going to try to get the operator to give CF his own special monorail pilot's license.

Or if it is something romantic and the kids can go to. Another treat that comes with staying at a Magic Kingdom resort that's not as publicized as it should be is the Electrical Water Pageant. This convoy of beautifully lit floats makes a musical circuit around the Seven Seas Lagoon nightly, weather permitting, passing in front of the Polynesian around 9 p.m., the Grand Floridian at 9:15 p.m., the Wilderness Lodge at 9:35 p.m., Fort Wilderness at 9:45 p.m. and ending at the Contemporary around 10:05 p.m. Good viewing spots can be found along the beaches of any of these resorts, as well as from select restaurant locations -- Narcoossee's at the Grand Floridian, for example, affords an on-the-waterfront seat. Try to see it if you can!

the kids are DD19 mos and DD4...I think he wouldn't be for doing something on his own, either...

You know, when we were there last year, I guess it was right after fantasmic, we saw all the boats out on the water...It would be neat to get to visit the Polynsian and watch the parade...the kids can kind of play around and stuff...

He's way into Sports, so the ESPN thing is a REALLY good idea, and I guess I'm the 'drinker' in the family, so I don't think the beers would work, although it's a great idea.

I think I may slip a note in the pockets of all of his shorts, just an "I love you!" or something like that...

I just knew you guys would come through :)!

Do the Family Magic Tour. It is inexpensive by Disney standards and it would be something fun for the entire family to do since he see's it as a "family vacation"!

If you all want to be together you could also let him go parasailing, they will let you all in the boat, you could also get a picnic lunch and then rent a pontoon boat at the Poly and go for a little trip on bay lake and the seven seas lagoon.

Well he can drive a race car at the Richard Petty driving experience... there is a few different packages starting from 400 and also a ride along program where he can sit in the passenger seat for a few laps for about 100 bucks.
Also giftsofalifetime.com can arrange a special scavenger hunt with a presant or card at the end or another kind of event ( they are doing one for me in sept) You also can go on a carriage ride at POR or FT. Wilderness for around $30 bucks.....a fireworks cruise would be great for the whole family ... you can see wishes or illuminations and they cost about $120... you can contact room service and have something special waiting in the room with a card...or you can eat at the Grand Floridian and have some of the special desserts ordered for after as a surprise to everyone(dog bones, cindys slipper, mini cakes, and white choc. mickey's ) Ok hope I helped lol!!! :rotfl:

hire a disney photographer for a few hours, have them follow your family around and let them capture the happy expressions on your faces on the rides, watching the parades or sharing popcorn on a bench...

I didn't know you could hire a disney photographer...that's awesome!!

Such great ideas, guys, I'm checking out giftsofalifetime right now... :)
