Something Borrowed (movie, book)

I'm just in from the premiere. I had read the book previously, but honestly I did not remember it all.

I enjoyed the movie. A real chick flick. I went with a girlfriend and we had a lot of laughs. The whole theater was basically women..

I am debating on whether or not to go see this. I read both Something Borrowed adnd Something Blue. Is it just based on Something Borrowed or does it also intertwine with Somethin Blue?

I think the one that is really holding me back is that I cannot stand Kate Hudson.

Yeah, I am not the biggest fan of hers either. She played the dumb blonde part well though!!!

I am not sure if I would pay for it. These were free passes so why not.

LOL. I loved loved these books. And did the casting in myhead wayyyyyy before the movie was ever filmed. Kate Hudson? PUHLEEZE. DArcy is not even blonde! That kind of taints it for me b/c I too cannot take Kate...Still going to see it but I have to tell you if you are on facebook, if you join the Emily Giffin fan club you will grow to be more than annoyed with Emily. She posts every 10 minutes I swear. No wonder she has no other books out..no time to write!I finally had to hide all her posts......very full of herself...

I loved both Something Borrowed and Something Blue.

However, I won't be going to see the movie. I'm not a big fan of Kate Hudson.

I'm kind of disappointed in Emily Giffin-her last two books weren't of what I had come to expect from her. I didn't even finish Heart of the Matter.

Love these books! Glad to hear movie was good....I was disappointed that they picked Kate Hudson to play Darcy as Darcy is supposed to be drop dead gorgeous (as you can tell not a big Kate Hudson fan!)
