yeah, I did....

I actually have been reading, but have been so out of it, i didn't really reply to much.... to tell ya the truth, i have NEVER been sick like this. i haven't really been coughing or sneezing, but i have been SO tired and wiped...i haven't had ANY energy I still have no idea how i made it thru the work day yesterday....by the last client, i could have sworn i was gonna pass out.... It's really been weird....but, today was a shorter day than yesterday (thank God!) and i came home and plopped on the sofa for several hours.... i'm a believer in 'rest' when you're not feeling well, so i've been doing that....trying to get thru yesterday and today at the salon....'resting' seems to be working, cuz i feel better tonight...just not 100% yet I can't remember the last Friday nite I was asleep by 9pm

You know last year I ended up with pneumonia. What you are describing sounds a lot like I felt at the beginning of it. It just got worse and worse. I had never been sick like that before. I ended up at the ER and in the hospital for 4 nights. Don't let yours get to that point. It wasn't any fun.

Very cloudy and rainy all day. Had ice on the windows that looked really thick but was able to scrape it off with my fingers and absolutely nothing on the roads. Very strange. Of course we did have 2 or 3 near 70 days last week.

And...how's dear Ally? Strep throat is NO fun. DH had it...you'd think he was dying Unfortunately, stuff like that just keeps hopping child to child....sometimes nothing ya can do about it Amazing how well doctor drugs work tho, huh?

She is amazingly better. Her throat doesn't even hurt at all any more. Didn't after the first days dose. She sure is complaining about having to take it, doesn't like the taste.

I hope it's a good year for Hendrick....i picked Johnson

Lori - i just added another Saturday to Oct trip, makes me ill to burn the points so lol. Thinking of switching to OKW or AKV @ 7 month point. Have you stayed @ AK yet?

We stayed at AK for a few nights about 5 years ago. We really liked it. Haven't tried AKV yet though. I may call tomorrow and see if there is availability there for our first three nights and cancel the waitlist for VWL.

nice dinner w/DH last night, over an hour wait for a table...plopped down @ the bar & ordered my 1st ever appletini with carmel topping drizzled in it...went down so well, had 2 more...glad DH was the designated driver. Seafood & steaks were great, even though it's a chain I think they do a great job with the limited offerings they offer.

Glad the dinner was nice.



Well, I am pretty much finished here at my sisters until I go to take the pics tomorrow. She bought a ionic foot bath detox machine last weekend so I am going to go soak my feet in it to see what nastiness comes out. She said hers had several parasites in it. YUCK! I may be needing a puking smilie later!

Yes. . they had an offer for $99 for a one-bedroom suite. The offer for the 2 bedroom suite was pretty good too. I think, though, that you had to book that by 2/15 to take advantage. There is likely a different special now. Not long ago they had a BOGO special I missed out

Watched the last 10 laps as hubby and son were watching. At this time, my guy Biffle was #2. I was so excited - as I had never heard of him. Anyhoo, he finished #10.

Still don't understand how the "teams" work and such.

But I'm #10. I'll take it.
