you can email or call, or just send a post
we are the best thread so surely we can boast!

:cheer2: Yay Penny :teeth:

I think we should keep the original title...with either:

"Part 2"
or
"Again"

I'm really easy-going....I'll go along with whatever :thumbsup2 Just keep the door open for me :goodvibes

a thread by any other name would smell as sweet

i brought nanners:thumbsup2

all we need is ice cream, chocolate sauce & whipped cream and we'll be ready to partee

i could go with either one of your suggestions brab.

we can leave the home for the homies as a holding place for future reference when we have to switch.

in that quote i put up from alex.....we can have a link to the new thread.

something about nothing.......part 2
something about nothing #2
something about nothing.....again
something about nothing again

tell me what you want.
post here or send me a pm.

i can change the title of home for the homies or start a new thread with the new name.

i can go either way.
if i rename the thread of homies then we would need to stay with parts 2-3-4-5-6-etc.

oh dear...you're drooling:eek: :3dglasses

did you get ur refund yet? i'm counting the days -not sure why, just counting the days...mine should be "home" on Friday:woohoo:
Yes...I filed the federal return on 1/22 and received the deposit on 1/31...we don't have to do state returns.

 to u! didja buy that chair yet? I looked for it @ staples on Sunday when i had to go & buy new norton for this year...didn't see anything like it. My cat shredded mine to pieces, was thinking he couldn't get "a hold" of the mesh one:confused3

no state returns? yet another reason to move to FLA (beside those resident discounts lol)

do you have local sales tax (know there's 9% on hotels-not sure what it exactly represents) or local income tax?

We pay 1% local tax on income; and hope to get our usual teeny state refund back due to itemizing work expenses

I haven't bought it yet but will in the next couple of days. You won't find the Aeron chair at Staples...those are usually sold through Herman Miller dealers only (if you want the 12-year warranty).

We don't pay any state income or personal property taxes in Florida...thanks to all the tourists who come spend their hard earned $$$. ;)

The local sales tax % is 6% I think...I never really pay attention to it.

Hello gang. Found ya!

Although I always exercise my right to vote - I will let the majority rule.

I would like to reserve the king suite with the jacuzzi for April 16th. Until then, I will be working and only home to sleep on the couch and take a shower.

Barb - Congrats on your new job. Hope this one works out good for you.

Janet - There are about 3 states that don't have state income tax. This is one of the reasons why retirees head to Florida and set up residency there - to avoid their "old" state income tax. I'm sure Barb was aware of this and this is the main reason she wants to move to Florida.;)

Tricia - so glad to hear the news about Carol. Any time your chances go up, this is good news. Hang in there.:grouphug:

This week we are staying in a Days Inn. Since it has a conference center, this is actually a very nice hotel. Can't complain too much. Obviously, the wireless internet works.:cool1:

Well, off for a little tv and then to bed. I will be quiet tomorrow morning so as not to wake the rest of you at the summer home.

:) Jennifer

Jennifer...that's one of the reasons I moved here. In Virginia we paid personal property AND state income taxes...but not here.

well...of course you did...."it ain't "home" without janet's nanners" ;)

If they are gonna evict us every 250 pages, we'll be moving monthly

I'd stick with Part 1, 2, 3, etc..... just my suggestion, but doesn't really matter to me... If someone wants something else, I'm okay with that. If nobody else cares and you want someone to tell you what to do...then do that :thumbsup2

thought hotels were like 12% tax? :confused3

I think your local tax is higher than that...PA is 6% and for some reason, I remember FL being higher :confused3 Exactly how much, not sure.... Todd: homework assignment :teacher: ;)

Glad to hear you're liking that hotel...makes a difference. Altho, I can't sleep in those beds...dunno how you do it?? :confused3 Actually, I want to move to FL to get away from the cold (& DH wants to be away from snow).... I wouldn't mind paying taxes, as long as I am warm :goodvibes (I am cold from September thru May :confused3 )

Pics (very few) and TR tomorrow...

:yay: Seems like ya just left... :confused3 Glad you had a good time! Lookin forward to hearing about it ;)

Who rearranged the furniture?

I just can't find my way around the new place.

I'm going to bed. Maybe things will look better after I sleep on it.
